*Choosing a jacket in the morning is a question of which has better AP resist.
*You have to constantly remind yourself that you *CAN* buy certain uniforms as Halloween costumes without a C-store unlock.
*You get into traffic on the highway and reach for the slipstream button.
**Some jerk cuts you off and you reach for the autofire
*You ask if you should pay for that Hardees burger in Gold Pressed Latinum or in Energy Credits
*You want to know if your bank will take Starfleet Merit in lieu of credit score
*Your primary evaluation of a computer consists of "how well will it run STO?"
*Your browser auto-opens on the STO forums and latest release notes
*You have a Starfleet case for your iOS device, and you use it like a PADD
**(and you are proud of it))
*You have a test/deadline/project/meeting/date/ballgame to attend and all you do is stay home and play STO
**You will TiVO your favorite shows, miss the big game, even abandon the Superbowl under extreme circumstances..... but you would rather let the world burn in atomic fires than miss the next weekly release
*You watch TNG/VOY/TOS/DS9 episodes while patching
*You have modded the STO ingame LCARS in some way to make them more cannon
*You have *all* purple end-game ship, ground, and BOFF gear. On more than one VA.
**And more than one General
***At the same time
*You have no dang idea who to vote for, or whos ahead in the elections... but you darn well know exactly what players are asking/begging/voting for or arguing over at the STO forums.
*You dressed up your cat as a Sehlat cub for Halloween
*You have ever run more than one STF in a day (is this even possible?)
*You post in Ten Forward
*You post in this thread
*You post more than once in this thread
*You can't replace a broken starter, but you know what every piece of gear is in the entire game and how it works or performs compared to all the others.
**You know where to get them and for how much
*You spend more than 10 minutes a session fiddling with your uniform at the tailor
*You spend more than 15 minutes trawling the exchange for awesome deals
Ok, what the frakk...have you been straing in my window or something?...Honestly I see myself in um...I don't want to admit how many...bt many of these portions of the list..Instead of reaching for the auto fire...I almost reached for my bat'leth when I got cut off yesterday
Or you watch one of the movies, even while playing the game. (Guilty)
You post yet another thread titled to the effect of "You know you're addicted to STO when..."
I can top that...3 STF's in a day...just ask fleeties...lol.
As well, I have been known to watch part of a ST movie whilst waiting for people for missions or STF's AND if I get bored, put on some ST music...some of my favourites would include the Klink battle music...lol and music from TWOK...lol...
Oh TRIBBLE..I have posted twice here...does this mean I am addicted and need a 12 step plan?

Damn guilty ....
* You have told your RL friends "sorry I cant attend <insert event> Because I have a fleet event to run"...
*You practice chancellor Martok and General Chang imitations while playing a Klingon character
*You compare every RPG, MMO, MMORPG, game, and life itself to STO.
**Daily
***Repeatedly
*You have more than one music/texture mod in progress for STO
*Christmas comes early for you in the form of the Season 3 release
Well, 2 of those wait to be seen...I do not do artwork on the computer...I prefer traditional medium...lol. As well, I will see Christmas early if they give Klinks some...scratch that...ALOT of love for season 3....that will make me happy...for a time....lol...but that's a big IF...lol.

Off the top of my head, these are the ones I have done, not to mention:
*going to bed thinking about what needs to be done tomorrow
*moving all of my VA/LG characters to the location of the next weekly in advance
*regularly wipe and copy chars to Tribble, so that they don't say 1 2 or 3 after their names
*find something silly to post to if I haven't posted in a few days
*start wondering if parts from other cars would look good on your car
when all you think about at work are different BO setups for your bird of prey
when you want to hit beam overload and rapid fire when "that guy" takes your office supplies for the xth time
when redlining your car in 1st and 2nd and you imagine yourself hitting emergency power to engines and evasive maneuvers
when you envision potentially hostile interdepartment meetings as going aboard the Assimilated Cruiser and you can't wait to lay waste to the noobs
when you've envisioned yourself pulling out your trusty CRM and turning your bosses into statues shortly after the meeting started and then running as far away as you can, hoping you don't come across another mob spawn
when you watch DS9's Valiant episode and subconsciously think of all the tac escort/raptor/bop pilots you've blown to bits because they thought they could take your 4 ship team on their own
when you become a Qonos tour guide for new klingons (even fed admirals making a kling alt for the first time are new eh?)
* When your car won't go fast enough, you frantically look around for the button for an engine battery
* You spend your breaks and lunches at work working on ship, Boff and character builds
* You buy something on the exchange not because you needed it, but it was a good price and you might need it later
* You quote Star Trek movies and/or shows while playing the game
* You have gone through an entire rank, or several ranks with one character playing nothing but Fleet Actions and DSEs. Not because you wanted to power level, or not play the other missions, but because you were too busy testing and re-testing ship and Boff abilities
* You start imagining how your Boffs would react emotionally to events in-game
When you think about deleting and restarting a character because he/she has reached the level cap, and you really want to play one of the lower tiered ships again.

If you play the Klingon theme from TMP while playing the Klingon faction... (Again, Guilty).
What?!?!?!?!? have you been staring in my window too?...sheesh...lol..
Wait...it was me doing the opposite...btw..you are out of milk.

My best friend has +10 to navigational skills.

that has to be one of the top ones in my opinion....lol

Out loud to myself, or in-game? Not that it matters, I have done both.
I've actually felt guilty replacing one of my Away Team members with the Breen officer....
*You wonder why you can't throw your ex in front of a car during The City on the Edge of Never in order to preserve the future
*Don't take the male vulcan BOff during the intro because you don't want to have "the talk" in seven years
*Are an engineer with poor social skills. Or an alcoholic.
*Are fired from work and are torn between dealing fire damage over time or proc-ing the electricity subsystems
*Run around the office solving coworker disputes. At least you can transwarp to the bar after 15 more diplomacy missions
*Run out of friend slots
*Have too much money
*Wait in line for more than fifteen minutes at any store, then when you get to the cash register wonder where the other PvP players are
none. you should have negotiated your way out of that gambit
You scream STOP LOOKING IN MY WINDOW!!!
(and complain afterwards on the forums that she was OP.:p)
Working on Build at Work...Guilty
Considering Restarting...guilty. But in my case I wasn't happy with my whole build and I was outta respec tokens.
And yes, I've quoted Trek in the game.
The rest, I'm not saying.
for a nice intimate evening with your wife/girlfriend you ask "What build allows for the least shared cooldown?"
You yell "tribble hunt" excitedly when performing your Klingon star-cluster missions.
