The most honorable thing to do is to serve the Empire. If I got a Federation vessel, I would try to report back to the High Command. They would tell me what to do with it, and I would gain honor.
Assuming that the vessel is of no technological value, the best use for a Federation vessel would be to penetrate deep into Federation territory on a clandestine mission.
Trying to approach Earth would be pointless. I would not know the authorization codes that would permit me to penetrate their defenses; I and my crew would die an honorless death. Above all, a Klingon should fear death without honor. If I were somehow to plunge a vessel into the heart of Starfleet, I would do it in a Klingon vessel so they would know that a Klingon warrior was sending them to the afterlife. There would be no glory in using a Federation vessel to do it.
But I believe that a very good use of a Federation vessel would be to raid scientific outposts, like say, Memory Alpha and retrieve valuable technology for the good of the Empire. Or perhaps to liberate or take hostage some person of value to the Empire. Intercepting another Federation vessel unawares to take possession of something the Empire needs would be another good use.
I could also see the value in using it to misdirect the foes of the Empire. This is reasonable from a Klingon point of view, to destabilize my enemies in order to gain a decisive victory later on. There is no honor in attacking civilian outposts, though. We are warriors, not murderers.

If you're a klingon and you managed to get your hands on a Starfleet Ship..... What would you do with it?
Gozer
I'd use it to fly into fed space and do some of those awesome quests like city on the edge of never/ ultimate Klingon quest chain! Except try to sabotage the feds efforts in those regions where the quests are Klingon specific hehe
This concept could be a decent way to to open up a few fed quests to the KDF, but with a KDF twist to them.
New mission in the Gamma Orionis sector against the Borg:
You're sent to investigate what appears to be a small Borg outpost, and destroy it if possible. When you arrive you find the outpost on the planet's surface but it is much larger than was anticipated and, taking the initiative, you decide to launch a strike to plant explosives in the base and destroy it for the Glory of the Empire!
Due to its size you decide to deploy two teams: one to distract and divert the Borg, and another which will infiltrate the base and plant the explosives. You decide which objective to go complete and who you will take and which BO will take a group of "Security" officers for the other objective (naturally they would be unavailable to your team).
(assuming you're planting explosive while the other team runs interference)
The plan goes accordingly and you plant the explosives while the first team holds the attention of the Borg, but just as you sent the last charges (countdown active) and bring down the Transporter inhibitors to escape from the base the backups kick in! The first team's signal was disrupted at a critical moment and that allowed the Borg to close to close quarters, the signals of the "security" warriors were lost (presumed dead) but the signal of your Bridge Officer is still active yet has become erratic, signaling that they've been assimilated!
Your ship informs you a transwarp conduit has been detected on the far side of the system and that multiple Borg ships are heading towards the planet at high speed, you have moments before your ship is engaged in combat, and since you're alone with no back you must leave before you're overwhelmed, and leave your officer to their fate.
You transport back to your ship, the Borg approach you (a Cube with several support ships) but while the support craft attack you head on the Cube doesn't engage you, instead it enters transporter range of the base and starts to evacuate it.
You dispatch the support craft and see the base explode from orbit, but before you can reach the Cube it makes a move for the transwarp conduit and just as you enter weapons range the ship enters and closes the conduit. (end first mission, and what could have possibly been in that base that made the Borg react the way they did?!?!)
---
In a stroke of luck the Borg evacuated your officer with the rest of the base and didn't deactivate the transponder from your officer for a short time after leaving the system. When the signal finally stopped transmitting it had localized in a single system and after a small scouting party confirmed a large Borg presence in the system, Jm'pok authorizes a large scale mission to strike the Borg and learn what they were protecting.
The assault launches and it is a glorious battle as the Empire crushes the Borg, your vengeance is especially swift as you avenge your fallen comrades.
As the gaps in the Borg defenses widen from the battle, you're sent to the Borg station to land and find out what they had in the previous base and why it was so important.
During the course of your search you come across a familiar face/figure that is none other than your officer, fresh out of the assimilation chambers! Not wasting the second chance to save your officer from a dishonorable end with the Borg, you subdue them and beam them back to your ship for treatment/containment.
You continue your search and you eventually learn what the Borg were so determined to protect; a stable Omega Particle! You cannot allow the Borg to keep such a powerful item in their possession, but you must take special precautions to eliminate the Particle safely or you and the warriors around you will never leave that system again (and the lost fleet will be a crippling blow to the Empire in the sector).
With a little effort and help from your ship, you're able to rig a graviton explosive capable of neutralizing the particle once detonated. Additionally you place explosive charges at the station's primary power core and as you leave the area the entire station begins to come apart. Glorious!
You take your assimilated officer back to Battle Group Omega, where the ships there have the facilities to reverse the assimilation process and restore your bridge officer. Once the mission is complete the assimilated bridge officer will now have the same facial options available to them as the Liberated Borg characters from the LTS for customization.
After recently creating 3 new KDF PvE focused characters to evaluate existing content, I would humbly request that some specific attention be given to creating additional story-based missions for Ranks 10-30. Upon creating new officers, there is a good section of early content and missions that will quickly allow you toon to reach Lt. Cmdr. From there forward, there is almost no story-based PvE content (with the exception of the new Season 2 missions). The timed repeatable exploration and nebula defense missions quickly become nothing more than a slow, methodical grind in order to level up to BG. Once you hit BG, there is adequate content to quickly level to LG without requiring PvP.
I understand that Cryptic has always intended the KDF to be a PvP focused faction. I take no issues with PvP play other than the fact that the queues are always empty when I'm available to play (and thus PvP is not a viable means to progress in-game for me).

Here's an Idea. (I haven't read the thread further than the first page, sorry If I happen to suggest the same thing as someone else).
Klingon Intelligence has done some investigations about the destruction of the Romulan homeworld and have found out that Ambassador Spock created a Black hole that, strangely, acts more like a wormhole / has chroniton particles...
They order the Player to investigate and enter the hole.
You get on the otherside and the Narada has just collided with the USS Kelvin.
Being in the neutral zone, a bunch of D7 Cruisers decloak and try to capture the ship... and YOU are the reason they're able to do it.
Your first officer tells you it's important to avoid revealing your identity to the "past klingons" (which are in the alternative timeline) so you stay cloaked at all times (this way, they can't scan your ship) and you wear a mask.
You're part of Nero's interrogation on Rura Penthe and learn "his side of the story" about the destruction of the homeworld and the involvement of Ambassador Spock in this (who is still missing).
You go back in the "Wormhole" before it closes for good (will reopen in 25 years so that Spock is intercepted by the liberated Narada) and inform the Klingon Intelligence about what you know.
Episode Reward: Red Matter Capacitor. If you already have it, an improved version that would allow you to have the same boost, + Gravity Well 3.

Unfortunately nothing from the new Trek movies is covered in the licensing agreement cryptic has for Star Trek, since Paramount and CBS split the IP ownership between movies and shows essentially.
Just wanted to start a thread in here to see what you guys might want to see in the way of KDF PVE missions...
If you could make the perfect KDF mission, what would you make?
Gozer
Ok trying to balance resources Vs Out come here, but I mentioned it in another thread:
Execute the Khales expanse and give us a Deep Space Encounter! DSE's in Gamma Orionis are fun, because there's often loads of people in there. In the Khales expanse its just you being bored.
(all place names are spelt from memory, and such are liable to be wrong. I'm no where near my Computer at the moment.)
Edit: ok An actual mission?
Well you get called to a planet to help the colonists. The Place is infested with Tribbles. Several of the houses need to be cleansed. But there's only one way to do it: Nuke the sites from orbit. Its the only way to be sure.
Once the Infected buildings have been finished off, then you need to track down the source of the infestation. You enter a cave and find an earlier search [party, that has been crushed by falling debris from the room.
After much poking about you detect a big mass of tribbles... Moving towards you.
Its not a big mass of Tribbles, its One Queen tribble!
Que Temple of Doom sequence.
I hadn't actually planned the mission past that point though.
If you're a klingon and you managed to get your hands on a Starfleet Ship..... What would you do with it?

Stealing from history, something like the Swedish submarine incident using the Starfleet ship to rise tensions between the Romulans and the Feds would be interesting.
It could be used to erode their relations even further and if anyone tries to find out whether it's a hoax (there are some reports not all the subs were Soviet but some were NATO), they'll learn it's a genuine Starfleet ship.
Would be intersting to fly a few missions as a Klingon in a Starfleet ship, destroying freighters and stirring things up a bit.
If you're a klingon and you managed to get your hands on a Starfleet Ship..... What would you do with it?
Gozer
One of two things.
1. If I was after honour, i'd load it up with as many weapons as I could, and attack either Earth, Betazed, Vulcan or Andoria. Glory in death!
2. If I was looking to really stir things up, first I'd equip it with a cloaking device, and then go bombard the new Romulan capital and Cardassia Prime. Violation of the Treaty of Algeron, violation of peace treaty, direct act of war...lets see how the Federation likes them apples!
KDF missions, The Klingons should have mirrored missions that Coincide or parallel every Federation mission, Except the Klingons flip side of the coin should be to try and stop Star Fleet or sabotage Star fleets operations. So The Federation side already have tons of Missions, So all that The Cryptic Studios Team would have to do is take the same federations missions & just change it a bit to a Klingons point of view.
Here is an example of just one of the missions. The KuvahMagh in stead of Starfleet getting there first to save Miral Paris lets flip it & say the Klingons did, Now we could choose to be one of two factions, Either take the mission to Assassinate the KuvahMagh fighting Star Fleet & the Klingon Religious Fanatical, Or we could be the faction that believes that the KuvahMagh IS the Profit & savior of the Klingon Empire & we do like the current federation has it Save Miral Paris, then go on a chain mission quest only with a Big twist of gaining the Honor for the KDF.
So there is the fastest way to get content onto the Klingon side, STO already has a well established working story mission system, it should not be all that hard to add in new coding & tweak the story line to fit into the Klingon story line.
I see a lot of people here would LOVE to mount an all out attack on either ESD or from the Fed perspective raid Qo'nos. Obviously, at this point in time that is not very practical. However there is a way to make it very practical for either faction to live this dream.
My idea is to add a Mid-level STF starting at Commander. When you reach this level you are contacted and ordered to gather a team and report to the main holodeck on either ESD or Qo'nos main hall for a training simulation of an all out attack on either ESD or Qo'nos. Now, word of these training missions had reached the opposing faction and a spy was sent to sabotage the holomatrix. Upon entering the holodeck we are given an armada for the initial drive into Fed/Klingon space. Which includes other captains(NPC's). The battle is intense and get's even more so until some of the NPC people that are included in our initial assault team are killed. We learn then that the safety protocols and the exit has been been disabled. We learn that the only way to escape with our lives is to complete the mission to the end of it's story. The battle would continue until we reached Qo'nos and then the remaining armada would keep the Klingon/Feds at bay while we beam down and try to end the mission as quickly as possible by killing the opposing factions leader.
Holodeck malfunctions are a time honored tradition in Star Trek and I feel would work prefect for this scenario. Allowing all of us a practical way to live our dream of an all out assault on the opposing factions home base. As well as add a mid-level STF which I feel is important as an introduction to this type of game play. What do you think Gozer?
For a KDF only mission...why don't you just have us blow up ESD? Go into Sol, blow up a deal of ships, beam down, and kill everything and everybody we can find? We could take Quinn hostage or somethign as well to get some weird, cool, KDF only prize that is offered to KDF people at all levels, and will actually be in-game when we complete it...not like the efficient impulse engines my BG character never received...lol.
