Weird Loincloth Draping Effect

SystemSystem Member, NoReporting Posts: 178,019 Arc User
So I have noticed this for some time now, and I figured this was happening to everyone... but I haven't seen a mention of it yet, so I thought I would give it a go and see if it could get fixed!

Regarding the Orion Loincloths, Mirror Universe Sash/Belt, and the Formal Wear longer dress 'curtains' on the skirt... (All female costume parts) they bulge out from the waist and then arc forward... like a strong wind is blowing them away from the body. It's a very unpleasant and ugly effect and I am hoping something can be done about it.

Is anyone else encountering this issue?

I'm guessing it's made like that so it doesn't clip into the toons body.

It dosen't happen 100% of the time, (yes, noticed it too) so it can't be intentional.

Exactly!!! I just would LOVE to get this fixed! I can't even PLAY my female orion character anymore... the effect is just so goofy and distracting!

Hey devs... anyone that may be reading. Could I pretty please get a confirmation on if this is an issue that is being worked on, or even noticed by you fine people at Cryptic. It would really relieve a LOT of personal grief as well as stop me from badgering about it. LOL:D

Bummer... just read the engineering report today, still no mention of this bug. Am I really just in a huge minority?

    I get it too.

It's most prominent on the character selection screen. The front and back flaps both get blown at the same time, both away from the body. It's a constant puff-puff-puff-puff motion. If both cloths got blown in the same direction it wouldn't be so bad, but since they go in opposite directions away from the Orion's body, it means the wind is originating between her legs.

I guess it's the "pheromones" or something :p

FWIW, I noticed that giving her wider hips will help with this effect somewhat, but it is always present.

It's most prominent, obvious, and visually disruptive on the formalwear. You'd think that they'd at least pay attention to making the TRIBBLE they sell for extra halfway decent...
