On ground missions, I spend most of my time wandering around the map looking for items because the tricorder does not work. I always get "0 anomalies in the area" and no beam pointing to nearest objective. Sux.
The devs are aware of this and apparently the tricorder only responds to interactable objects instead of destructible objects which is what almost all of the Klingon missions have. Might take a few weeks or a few weeks for this to get fixed.
Those objects need work. if you try to get your officers to help you destroy them, they all just run up and sorta... hump them... you're on your own actually destroying them. They also have a pretty limited target range.
Best way to do these is zoom the mini-map out a bit, and you should see a path. Follow the path, and don't forget to turn around at the beginning, a lot of the destructible objects are behind you as you first spawn in (you should be able to see it without moving too far).
The hardest one is the Mushroom one, which tends to completely obscure the path from the mini-map. This one is hard to follow, but once your used to it, it's not so bad.

What's great is when you have a Tactical BO with Draw Fire. Yep, they'll expose themselves to it, along with the humping.
