Particle Storage Request

I probably don't visit the forums as much as I should, but a quick search didn't yield anything in regards to this topic, so forgive the repeat if it is.

While the "crafting" system always appears to be a work in progress in STO, it doesn't look like Particles are going anywhere, anytime soon. I haven't been playing the game for too long, nor have I spent much time working on my R&D progress yet, but I have managed to accumulate enough types of Particles to take over nearly 3 entire rows of my of my bank window.

Using 30% of my storage to just have a spot for each type of particle seems beyond a little ridiculous.

So, how about adding a 3rd tab to our Inventory panel where we would have designated spots to store 1 full stack of each type of particle? Everything above and beyond 1 stack would then be up to the player to designate how they would prefer to "hoard" their additional particles (mule characters, bank storage slots, etc).

If the limit of 1 full stack seems inadequate to everyone, then perhaps we could redefine the quantity that comprises a "Full Stack" for particles. I know it isn't a ground-breaking idea by any means, but I've seen it incorporated in many other MMO's and I feel like it would be a great tool to help keep things organized here in STO.

Of course, the easy way to obtain would be for it just to be given to us, but I wouldn't be opposed to completing a mission, or purchasing via our various Marks, Medals, Badges, Emblems, Merits, Energy Credits, or even adding it to the massive list of options we currently have to spend Gold Pressed Latinum on. ;)

While I'm no C-Store hater, I don't believe something like this should be on display there. Although along those lines, the option of purchasing additional rows of storage for your bank and character inventory could eventually be something offered @ the C-Store with far more warrant.

Don't encourage them. There's enough stuff on the C-Store with in-game effects (rather than simply cosmetic) already! We don't need any more!

It's ridiculous to have a full-price monthly subscription, and then throw items with game-impact into the store as well. If a company insists on combining full-price and store models, then they should only put cosmetic / 'fluff' items into the store. If you want to put items that have game-impact, then you either:
    a) reduce the subscription, or
    b) make some in-game way to gain the item that just takes more time.

I appreciate the input, but you're a little off the main topic here with nothing but the price-gouging complaints. As I said, I'm no C-Store hater, but that doesn't make me an avid fan either.

I certainly didn't enjoy paying full price for the digital download just weeks before the bonuses were added to the C-Store, and months before they slashed the base price down to $20 - On top of the full price subs, as you stated, but that wasn't the point of the post.

Again - if something like storage panel I described was implemented, they have no business adding it to the C-Store.
