Any chance that the uniform slots can be made to switch between duty and off-duty?

Right now, we have one slot that is off-duty and as many slots as we want to buy that are duty.

There are two ways that I see to improve the uniform slots: have a single slot be fixed to duty uniform and let us choose what to make the other slots using a drop down menu (and let us change them between duty and off-duty over time) or have a slot that's fixed to duty uniforms (the first slot) and let the other slots be composed of clothing from any set (mix and match between duty and off-duty uniforms).

I think that either there should be a requirement of one or more duty uniforms so that everyone has a uniform that their character can wear, but I don't see the point in limiting us to one off-duty slot and as many duty slots as we want.

Personaly I think the whole "duty" and "off duty" thing was a bad idea from the start.

Let people wear what they want to wear, in the combination that they want to wear it.

It's not like seing someone running through a mission in a dress is any less immersion breaking than seing an engineer running through with a Ghostbusters Proton Pack (engineer armour).

I´d like at least the extra slots that can be bought to be universal. I´s more likely for someone to wear different kinds of off-duty cloth than 300 different uniforms. :)

Heh - 'proton pack'. You hit the nail on the head, there! :D

I know you can 'hide' kits form your characters, but it still smacks of the old problem of 'for STO to look/feel/play like STAR TREK, you have to ignore certain parts of the game'.

As for the original post, I totally agree - we need an option to 'Set Uniform Slot Type', between 'regular' and 'off-duty'. If only to allow players to have a slot for plain and formal off-duty outfits.
