As I have stated in other posts Large PVP result in mass wolfpack tactics were 6 to 8 ships gang up on 1 ship.
star trek pvp is flawed by there own game mechanics ratio:
In PVE
3 light cruisers = 1 escort or 1 cruiser 1 science (vice versa)
So mass PVP does not work at all.
Really cryptic need to come up with a way players can challege a ship to one on one combat. A bird of prey moving through the system (right click to target left click to challange if accepted you go to a small random game map.
For the best PVP I would go into into war zones once they clean out the borg and create massavie 5 to 7 flag capture system War Zones should be pretty good PVP areas were fleets will have break up to cover more than one flag. It works for Day of Defeat so if your down to one flag you should have your whole fleet protecting it.
Also they really need to stop rewarding the losing team in PVP right now at the high end of PVP you could have 5 members of your team stay cloaked and send 2 guys to there death and just collect the end reward.
1v1 isn't that hard, open pvp menu > create tab > select map > invite player > start match (send a pm prior of course)

Sometimes I see people hanging back and not coming near. But rarely. And it's only been whenn the losing team was getting owned (xx - 0~1 type scores). Which seems to happen quite often in pvp. It'll be a bit unfair to lower losing teams score even more because matches can be so one-sided and it could have nothing to do with you.
Not that I played the map much, but I am kinda wondering what happened to the space Assault Map dealing with Beaming Troops into enemy instalitions... Looks like it didn't make the cut or something?

That would be Enemy Mine. I love that map...and it has been relegated to the bottom of the pile, because it was on the bottom of the queue. I would prefer that they would mix the standard cap and hold and enemy mine into the same queue so we could have a change up...
Great map...and I have played it like 2 times since launch...even though we played it all the time during beta.
Comments
The queue's have been f^*&ed up for weeks and there's been no relief in sight.
It's not so bad Klingon side although it's not good but the Fed side is brutal. I've been trying to finish a Cap & Hold mission for THREE DAYS.
That's just NUTS.
The QC on this release has been abysmal. Buggy missions, buggy pvp queues... it's truely pathetic.
It shows a basic disrespect for their paying customers.
Actually a new system is expected to hit Tribble within the week according to Storm Shade.

Rojon was in that thread, but seems content to whine anyways.
