Other games work just fine? Try another G-memory intensive game, your graphics card memory might be going bad.
Try reinstalling drivers, and/or force verify the game to check for errors.
Yes, every other game I play works just fine (a bunch of old games, World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings Online, Age of Conan, City of Heroes, etc.). The only games that give me trouble are Star Trek Online (constantly) and Champions Online (occasionally). Even the new WoW gives me no trouble.
The drivers are a fresh install and the game has been "verified" three times a day for the last week (and longer, when I don't get frustrated and move on).
This is an additional error that I received (when the game doesnt crash my entire system forcing a hard restart). I posted it to add to the list.
This game does have a video memory leak. I don't have a problem if I always shut my PC down before I go to bed. Leave it on though, after a couple of days playing STO on and off, STO will crash with an "out of video memory error".
Since you are already rebooting regularly, my posting hasn't helped you at all. Sorry.

There is no reason to be sorry; I appreciate your help. (Also, I really don't expect to get an answer or acknowledgment for this issue.) I mainly posted and added the link with the screen capture of the dialog box so it could be added to the list of issues for graphics cards. (If any DOES have a solution, however, I am all ears!!)

Well, when running the game, I am forced to reboot quite often. Otherwise, I reboot every day or two.

I also find the "nvidia" tag interesting.
Thanks for your help,
