I came to this game with a few friends and family of mine about a month and half ago, since then, they have all left since they didn't find the PVE part of the game that fun for them. Me on the other hand, is pretty hooked with PVP.
Since the latest patch, I haven't been able to play much PVP at all and I'm que'ing as soon as I get on (I play about 3-4 Hours average a night). Maybe one or two matches a night at most.
While waiting for QUE, which is proving to take longer pre patch, I normally do Space Encounters in the BORG area. I was thinking, maybe I have to be out of combat to be able to succesfully join a PVP Match? (everytime it pops, I click Engage and nothing happens).
I guess if this continues, I might as well cancel, it's becoming irritating more than anything

Also, another consideration is the fact that PEOPLE ARE LEVELING thier Rear Admirals and PvP is NOT good XP at that Rank. So if you are a lower rank, the people who are RA's playing their alts are not doing low level PvP since they are leveling their mains. Also once the RA's get to VA's, they have to go about getting emblems for new gear, running the elite STF's for gear and playing around with new ships, specs and loadouts.
So you've lost most of the alts PvP'ing, most of the Klinks and compounding this problem is the fact that most new players don't even know where the PvP Que system is and don't join it, or those who just don't like PvP or those who are turned off by it because they get WTFPWNED by good players who take the time to learn (even when they get smacked around too).
Time should heal this problem at lower levels once everyone gets bored with the new content.
It was good to vent tho, I feel a ton better
So thats why it asks me to engage only to go into a countdown, just to ask me again and again to engage after I already did the first time?
But I think a better idea would be not to give ppl the option, if you que up than when it has even teams
it should make everyone join.
If your doing something else than dont que up but if you do be prepared to be pulled from wherever
you are to start the match.
