    This game need to be limited too one rsp.

    Why oh why is it that everytime someone gets a sore rear they come in here to complain?

    If it works then it works, no use squinnying about it, just take new tactics, 2 rsp's can still be overcome. Especially with a bit of teamwork. You're not gonna get any sympathy in this forum old chap, and we've done the RSP argument to death so many times it's got old.

    It's funny. You get some people like Firetroll that complain because peeps kill them in seconds even with RSP and you are complaining that RSP is OP.

    green light means go! (ramming speed)... oh wait, thanks for the advice though Jaruslothran (you have no clue how fun it was).

    just subnub it off (or, you know, change targets).

    Yup. My buddy, a Sci Captain waits for a target to pop RSP and then blows it with SNB. It's hilarious. Some of these RSP spammers get pretty torqued.

Let's go to the first one, his RSP is down and on cooldown. Boom. Next Target. Let's go to the second one, his RSP is down and on cooldown. Boom. Last Target, his RSP is down and on cooldown. Boom!

    Unfortunately, people still fail at this mini-game and forget that they can switch targets and instead provide free unlimited healing to their enemies. They should all be court-martialed!

    ROFL! You have to admit though, that its awesome when you focus on a target using RSP and kill him with bleedthrough even though his shields are nearly maxed out because he popped RSP late and has no resists or heals. :D

    it's funny when tha thappens, but try it with a target where it'S realistic to happen. not a 60+ % hull cruiser or so. :)

    If I can't take out one on bleed through, then I just take away thier ability to move or shoot and move to another target.. If you can't beat them - gimp them temporarily.

    It may be just me but it seems like RSP1 is letting a bit more bleed through. Has anyone else noticed or am I crazy yet again? If this is the case I might go back to resilient shields.

    doesn't need smell, all he has to do is get the gasses to touch you and you're already wanting to die.

    Wait are we talking about RSP or shield resist stacking? The end result of both is the same.

    No actually shield stacking is better because you can work around a lot of cooldown issues and it typically lasts a lot longer then 15 seconds.

    And yes we know that 75% resist is the cap now. Just cutting the bad nerds off at the pass!


    Just so there's no bias in this thread let's dive into the Cannon spam and SNB issues next ! LOL

    So the simple solution is juist be a Sci Captain...or better yet, just transform into a Sci Captain and subnub it off?

    Thats llike some Infantry unit saying they are pinned down by machine gun fire, and then someone else shouts that the simple soultion against it is to just fly your attack plane in and bomb it.

    There is no simple solution when their are exclusive paper, rock, scissors abilities against a very effective power...that is, there is no simple solution, unless you already posses it.

    You know why the US military is successful? Because when they request the Air Force to bomb a target they actually bomb the target. I know, its a foreign concept - actually having multiple captains working together.

    No dis-respect, but I have no problem with SNB and don't think there's any issues with it. Not sure what you mean by cannon spamming. I'm guessing this is reference cannon wielding BOPs all using CRF or CSV. But who wields cannons and not the abilties that enhance them? The only way cannons hurt me is if I have multiple ships using CRF on me at once. This of course eats up my shields pretty good. But now that CSV 2 & 3 have been fixed, I really have even less of a problem. The range and number of cannon wielding opponents focused on me is what I find important when I play as it changes things substantially. I guess I,m just not sure what cannon spamming means.

    The game has change a bit in tactics. as a tactical Va now I use cruisers now than the escorts..
    ya the new defiant looks great and can cloak. But up on a fed cruiser not going to win a one on one fight.
    you can hit them with overloads torps and cannons ( beams) and they can take it if its a good captain. The cruiser wears you down.
    you need two or more to take on the cruisers... been in battles PVP where my team was mostly escorts, defiants... and the other team was cruisers.... capture and hold they moved it two groups. one event 5 escorts taking on three cruisers. we were handed our hats and out the door.. beat us badly in game.
    So against klingon ships I say its a good fight now.. but there are not to many klingon players now. Since its more balanced they don't play much in pvp area's. Lost there advantage....
    I think Cryptic is finally getting the game tuned in more... Just wish they make cruiser more for tactical toons as well.

    The defiant can take down any cruiser if you strike quick... play like a klink. Drop the beams. Decloak at 5k fully buffed... unload cannon round hy 3... and good night cruiser... if not Engine Battary Evasive manuvers. Cloak and return.
