Will Cryptic be there representing STO? Wondering if there will be a presence...
I seem to recall having seen a previous thread about this (this is the one in Vegas right?) stating that officially they wouldn't be there but some of the team might show up as themselves and not representing Cryptic.
I kinda wish they would officially go. It would generate some more buzz for the game, and they'd be able to show off how much progress has been made since release.
Very disappointing that there will be no official presence. Cryptic and Atari are blowing a PRIME opportunity to get the game some publicity! Bad decision to not officially attned in my opinion...

This is where someone can take a swipe at <insert company here> for poor marketing decisions.
I totally understand them not wanting to go... (from a vendor point of view).
I've sat in vendor booths for hours on end in conventions before....*ugh.
never again.
.
If you've seen Jack Emmert's interviews from the convention in 2008, you can tell he was exhausted from it. Panels and booths are kind of boring: let alone the costs of get a demo computer together or video ready in time to show off to fans (or one with internet connectivity).
