3 things that jumped out at me last night whilst playing .
PVP queue system is not working as it should imo.
We used to have frequent games and a percentage of those games had unbalanced numbers. Now as of last night we have less frequent games still with a percentage of unbalanced numbers. I only played one PVP C&H with equal numbers last night! I know Cryptic has tried to fix the imbalance issue with introducing a ready up mechanic, which in theory should work, but from what Ive seen it clearly doesnt!
Also on 2 occasions last night when it looked like the game would start any second, I was given a pink error message telling me there was no map available and I was then unable to re-queue for some time .
Photonic shockwave isnt working half the time. I used to be able to knockback any enemy within a 2.5km radius of my ship. Now it seems I can only do that sometimes. Last night it simply wasnt reliable. I might thought it was lag, but I saw no warping and it was far too frequent. Anyone else experienced this?
One last thing. Did cryptic do something to the Beam Overload GFX? For me it used to show a nice big thick beam being fired out of the end of my ship. Now it just looks like Im firing normally. I kind of liked being able to tell visually when my BO was firing. It also looked cool. Now not so much
