Turn Off Contact Option?

Is there a way to turn off low level contacts or low level missions if you no longer wish to see them. My federation contact list is very vast, and is a little cumbersome. My Klingon list is very streamlined, I like it better to be honest.
If not federeation contacts should be reduced, and thier missions given to just a few quest givers.

I agree with this, we need the option to hide contacts that offer missions below our current rank, but still have the option to reveal them if needed. Maybe a toggle option in the main Options menu.

Drop any low level Quests you currently have and the contact will be hidden unless you are in that low level area.

I agree it's not the best option as they show up anytime you're going to Sol or such, and with the new diplo system it seems you'll be in low lvl areas more often.

    But Hey it's something.

my RA's still get the PvP quests from the guys on K7 regardless of location..

as I've not done any of them (really not a fan of PvP) thats not an option for me.. and yes, its exceptionally annoying to see the new quest icon and its just those same two guys banging on at me about stuff I dislike doing..

if nothing else that needs fixing from my point of view

Yeah the PvP quests always show and I'm right there with ya, never really do them much myself.

I believe they are meant to be across any lvl so the feature they added in the above wouldn't affect them much.

Problem is this was a major annoyance in beta and after lunch. They put in a small fix to make it somewhat tolerable for the most part but it's one of those things that needs to be fleshed out a bit more, it's just not working as well as it could.

add to that that a lot of people after the fact didn't, and still might not, realize they needed to drop the quests from their journal in order to see the contact go bye bye...
