A few suggestions.

These are just a few suggestions that came to me recently, mostly from doing stuff and seeing a few inconsistencies and why-the-hell-nots'.
here we go...
1. Why not allow, possibly through a nicer, more user friendly crafting system, a few more slots of any different kind to your ship? For example, say at max level, i want to fly around in my old Oslo, but it isn't quite up to par. Why not upgrade it with a few new pieces of hull, some EPS conduits and a small amount of anomalous data/ technology and get a brand spanking new Tactical console slot? it would be pointless calling it a balance issue since it is already obsolete since I'm at max level, and it makes the game a little more playable for longer, since now i have to level my crafting to allow for ship upgrades of this type.
You could even make it a profession of sorts, one person might want to be a specialist personal gear maker, and another might want to be Mr. Console master... you never know.

2. This is a really big one for me, since I'm constantly getting stuck running into and in between people... make all avatars/npc's incorporeal, like in wow. Solve the stuck avatar problem by making all people able to walk through each other.

3. You might want to go over your missions text with a fine toothed comb. The Federation does'nt say things like "i can't be held responsible for the consiquenses," or,"leave them to thier fate!"
These things just don't fit. I understand the need upon release was to finish as fast as possible, but now would be a good time to fix the feel of the game. And, just to clarify, I think from what the movies and shows have tought me, the Klingons are far more likely to spout something shakespearian at me than, "We are the greatest warriors in the galaxy! Prepare to die!!!" My kid sister could come up with better tha that.

    All good points.

    We could also have engineers and doctors train to repair/heal. Characters would gain the ability to repair and heal without the need for spare parts and whatever.

    That would free up slots in everyone's inventory.

    Some kind of Sub-classes need to be introduced. I know the Diplomatic corps is being established but they, and other sub classes should have been introduced long ago.

    As Rafiki would say, it doesn't matta, it's in de past! I like the direction this new Exec. Producer guy is taking things. I just hope we don't have to wait too long for all this fixing/finishing up to happen. Then again, i'd rather they do it right and take a while shold they need the time than have them hurry and suck it up again.

    I don't have much of a problem running into people, but them running into me. It's real annoying standing talking to some NPC and someone comes and bumps (and actually does MOVE me) suprised they couldn't be designed to walk around me. I don't think incorporeal is any good either, because them walking through me would just be another visual disturbance, unless they could "teleport" over me.
