Almost...but not quite there ship interiors...question..not rant

I'm very grateful that we have ship interiors, especially the bridges, but i've got a question.

Why didn't they model the bridges exactly like the bridges in the series. For instance, the Galaxy bridge has long hallways right off the main part. There is a hallway to the ready room and into the turbolift. The sovereign has the same sort of design implementations. Was this to add more room for running around?

I'd just be happy to choose where my bridge officers are standing and what their actions are.

Part of the reason is probably because this game takes place 30+ years in the future, the designs would have changed. I can't think of any reason besides that.

TBH I dont really care how they look as long as they are non-functional.

I think he means that he'll care about the bridges and how they look after the bridges actually serve a purpose and function.

I think what he meant was as long as they are none functional (the way they are now), he doesn't care how they look (cause I guess he doesn't go to them since there is nothing to do). Though I could be incorrect about that.
