New Idea: Lets us assign our bridge officers to their bridge stations

So while wandering around my bridge last night i was seeing my bridge crew in totally randoom stations around the bridge.

My idea would be to give us the otion to assign them to certain station. So that the chief security officer sits in the main security station ... Of course which station is which is free to every captains imagination.

    Also if i may add, being able to pick the rest of the crew's outfits would be nice aswell :D .

    This is something like many other things Cryptic should have thought of from start.And were is our first officer ?

    I don't know about assigning bridge officers to specific locations within the ship interiors and bridges...

    But the devs have commented directly on a) customizing uniforms for NPC crew in our interiors, and b) doing something with first officers.

    I can't remember exactly what was said, but the gist of it was...there's currently no tech in-game to set the NPC uniforms. It's possible, but a programmer would need to spend time coding it. It wouldn't be an overnight job. So it's something they know we want, but they need to find time to do it.

    For the first officer thing...the devs have posted that they'd like to do something with first officers, but we haven't heard any details. It's possible they haven't even made any real plans yet.

    I would love to be able to assign stations to my officer's. I would also like to define the uniforms for each branch/section of my ship so that my generic zombie crewmen use something simliar to my bridge officer theme. And it would be nice to play as my First Officer as a proxy for my Captain, as Captains do not commonly go down on their own or in person (at least in Next Generation). I would like the ability to designate chiefs (with bonuses that could come with such designations).

    So which positions are we expecting to see, anyway? Off the top of my head-

    -First Officer (Spock, Riker etc)
    -Chief Medical Officer (McCoy, Crusher, Bashir etc)
    -Chief Engineer (Scotty, La Forge, Torres etc)
    -Tactical Officer/Security Chief (Worf, Tuvok, Reed etc)
    -Operations Officer (Data, Kim etc)
    -Science Officer (Spock, Dax, T'Pol)
    -Counselor (Troi, Dax)
    -Flight Controller (Sulu, Paris, Mayweather etc)
