Beaming onto your bridge

I went on tribble to check out some of the new content last night, but why, now that we have transporter rooms as part of our interiors, do we still beam to our bridges when we want to go to the ship interior? Surely, if we are coming from a ground-mode environment, we should arrive in the transporter room...otherwise there isn't a lot of point in the transporter room being there.

    Give Cryptic the benefit of the doubt, They are going to add more functionality to it, just give them time. People are screaming for content and this is as fast as then can make it. They have a million things they want to do and can only do about 10 at a time.

    in their defense. they held off the science, engineering, and poker mini games so they can hammer out some bugs.

    I am on the whole not a person who regularly goes round saying how TRIBBLE I think Cryptic is, and I am all for them holding things back in order to hammer out bugs, but it can't take much work just to change the spawning point from the bridge to the transporter room can it?

    They do have to work out some of the kinks. I still wonder why we beam out of the ship interior in the first place, even a sudden blackout to the loading screen is preferable. I also think that when we beam up from planets we should be able to select the option to arrive in our transporter room.
