Can we have Liberated Borg BO Male or of different Specie?

I mean why the L. Borg BO has to be a "Seven of Nine" clone?

Agreed. It was silly to begin with that there was no male option, but why couldn't ALL race templates have been available for both the Borg BO and Playable Borg? I mean, just allow borg skin, outfit, and implants of the other races and let the stats be the same.

[sarcasm]How..Constructive and meaningful to the discussion.[/sarcasm]

I think cryptic did it at least in part because 7of9 is an icon of star trek and so everyone with the preorder/cstore purchase can have their own pet sexy borg. That and the acquiring bo system in the game precludes changing the gender anyways.

I agree with you though, since this is not specifically called a liberated borg human like the lifetime bonus we should get more customization options to the character. I would love to have a liberated borg andorian. :p

Personally I think all of the liberated Borg (Fed and KDF, player and BO) should get at least limited access to the alien creator + the borg implants. There could be some clipping issues, that's why I'm for limited access. They don't have to be completely outlandish, but it should be possible to recreate the more important species from the Trek universe. The same should be true for the photonic bridge officer and if they are implemented the androids.

If you can get one friend to use one of your referral keys, buy the game and pay for one month after the free one is up you get a photonic bridge officer. Unfortunately his looks can't be changed at the moment.

Which is completely odd as he's a hologram - he'd theoretically be more changable than the "solids"

Im actually curious what this has to do with modifying the borg bridge officer. I havent heard any talk to unlocking/sell a soong android.

He may be more changeable since he's an hologram, but as we saw with the Doctor on Voyager, he didn't change (and neither did all the other Mark I's that we saw digging in the mines at some point or the one in First Contact). Like them, I guess our photonic officer was made to ressemble either a template or a specific human that helped create him and that'swhy all the same Mark of this holographic person will look the same (as it is now, then).

    Makes sense?

Actually, the Doctor in Voyager could change himself at any time he wanted - he just didn't want to.

And the ex-EMHs mining were probably just wiped of their medical memory and programmed with mining knowledge.

    I blame the show.

Think about it? Borg came from a far, far away place yet their first encounter Q caused, the entire Borg were humans. I thought that was a nitpick blamed on the budget or something.

i dont think they had fully worked them out at that point. we only saw the assimilation in best of both worlds.

before hand all they cared about was technology and not people. so they just made them look like humans. its only after best of both worlds that we started seeing borg of different races

any way to the topic, yes i want to see different careers, gender and races for the borg bo and liberated borg
