Discuss pros/cons of Season 2 lack of Klingon Refits.... I like to see what people think on both sides of the fence. Especially since this topic is not just klingon, or tribble, or ship related, it's an ALL IN ONE! Yeah!

Are you asking about professional cons or a conned professional? ;)

Pro's - smaller download / update which means we get to enjoy our current Klingon ships that much longer.

Con's - smaller download / update which means we get to enjoy our current Klingon ships that much longer.

Pro's - devs have more time to consider what to do about klingon refits

Con's - devs have more time to consider what to do about Klingon refits

Pro's - fewer options for customizing your Klingon ship means you get to spend more time waiting in PvP queues!

Con's - fewer options for customizing your Klingon ship means you get to spend more time waiting in PvP queues!

Pro's - lack of Klingon refits means you get to spend more time playing the new missions

Con's - lack of Klingon refits means you get to spend more time playing the new missions

How's that for my input into the discussion? ;)

I enjoyed it, I just get the hunch they did this to trick Feds to PvP by providing them with an upper hand... so they win more often and feel like it might be a direction to go...

The BoP and Raptors are more or less refits each freakin' time.

I wouldn't mind BoPs having more customization options for tier 5 however really, you're not going to refit those things.

The Cruisers are the only ships with diversity. The Vor'cha is really the only candidate. Any future ships should be new designs likely from the Gorn, Nassican and Orion ships.

So someday there might be more "paper-tiger" ships on the Klingon side for the Fed to have target-practice with?

I'd like to see you stop spamming. The Devs know Klingon players want more content - spamming about it doesn't help you at all.

    QFT

What would they refit? Feds get a different ship each tier, klingons get the same kind of ship each tier with more weapon slots.

We should not be asking for refits, we should be asking (and are) for different ships.

I think it's really important that Cryptic spend a bit more time on the feds. I mean, the feds are the most undeveloped thing in the entire Star Trek canon. The Tholians got more exposure than the Federation.

And yes, it's good that we got to see the glorious life of a Klingon in such an accurate simulation of the day in and day out dog-fighting and stabbing, but what about the federation?

I'm not sure they have enough compelling stories or diplomacy missions. Certainly nothing next to the absolute perfection that is the STO version of the life of a Klingon.

I mean, the only thing Cryptic could add to this game to make it more entirely "Klingon Friendly" is to send you a bottle of prune juice that is labeled blood wine for your own personal use while in game blowing up the feds that got themselves into that galaxy X
