It is quite obvious now that many of the changes that go into the patches are aimed at the PvP community.

Playing PvP as a Federation character can be suicide as many will testify. The average player does not come

to these forums as he just plays the game and when it becomes to unbalanced he just leaves the game.

This costs you revenue and clients and this game relies on a continual in flux of new players.

So I can only think that some people who are modifying this game are big PvP players and bad business men.

My friends and I enjoy the game but now stay away from PvP as to us it is fast becoming a dead area to us.

Nothing will probably happen as a result of this post and I wont be returning to the forums and will just go back

to the game happy at least that I have at least stated my opinion

I'm not sure about the PvP being catered to, but there are some strange things going on. PvP requires team work to be well skilled at it, but lately I'm finding some oddities. Single, alone, Klingon ships that after unloading everything on them with two Fed ships engaged the Klingon manages to take both the Fed ships. The Klingon hull never even gets the paint scratched even after the Shields are down and in a protracted battle with time to recharge weapons twice, which accounts for three full power attacks by two ships engaged against the Klingon, it seems odd that the Klingon has the fire power to do anything. The combination of weapons and consoles only allows for so much. Making up for firepower requires sacrificing defense and the consoles so required. The same is true for the reverse. If so, how can a Klingon ship have both defensive measures for the Shields and hull while still having massive firepower? This isn't a question of skill, rather you can't have one attribute without sacrificing on the other. Either an edge has been given to the Klingon side or someone has found a way to give themselves an edge that's not included in the game.

Um...no offense.......but keep in mind that depending on your grade in rank and such, not to mention the other thousand varied factors involved....could it be that the Kling has had nothing to do on his side but perfect his pvp skill?

When I first started a kling that was exactly the case. I had played fed and nothing but pve.....when i made a kling it became clear on what i needed to do to be better at pvp. Its not the ship (usually) that your flying. Its how you fly it. Don't forget about the factor of chance being thrown in as well.

Some days your the bug, somedays your the windshield.

When I play a fed in pvp we usually don't win, the klings do, but only because the feds usually do not work together and pick a role to play as far as support of even designated wing man.

Team work is key, no over powered weapon is going to beat it.

If Im in pvp and you see me, hit me up.....I'll heal you till the cows come home........but if you can't dish it out to do the job then I'll just be spinning my wheels in my attempt to keep you spaceborne.

Lastly understand this one cold fact.....balance is a myth...there is no such thing as balance in PVP....once you wrap your head around it, you can turn your weakness into your strenth...with the help of a few people on the same side.

Funny as T4 Klingon, I get my butt-handed to me by the Feds who use teamwork all the time.

As the the "invulnerable" Klingon Bop, What level was the match?

The Klink in question may have just been spec'ed out very well and knew what he was doing well enough to defeat the two feds. I don't know if I could kill two feds solo, but I do know that with EPtS1 / HE2 / ST1 on a keybind used in conjuction with AuxBat / EVM3 / BC on another keybind - I can usually survive long enough to escape with at least 40% hull left.

There are players in the game that are so well conditioned to PvP that they will find teo feds a easy kill.

    Catered to?

Starship interiors, Klingon PvE missions, additional costumes, both faction PvE quests, weekly episodes (I assume PvE).....

Yup.... season 2 is a PVP players dream!

Now if you mean that Klingons got a bit more attention than usual, yes they did. They should also get a good portion of season 3....at least 8 more PvE missions for them would finally make it a bit more even.I play my Gorn because I want to be a Gorn, not for the PvP.

I think I've done PvP 3 or 4 times total since April.
