Install Arc

Save settings locally

I'd REALLY be thrilled to be able to save all my options (keybinds, HUD, graphics, etc) to a local file that I can load to new characters. Setting this up the same each time is tedious.

+1 - Something that Cryptic did on CoV/CoH was to allow your settings to be exported and reloaded, I can't see how difficult this would be to implement.

Either that or make settings apply per account, not per character - obviously having seperate settings for Holodeck and Tribble would make sense.

Heh, I know. I've been playing CoX for a little over 3.5 years. :)

    The keybinds can be saved/loaded
Here is how to do it: http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?t=90162

I think other settings could be shared as well because some configs are saved to the client.

Yeah, my main point is that they need a simple button on the respective option screens (keybinds, graphics, HUD, etc) that does this without having to specifically be on board ship or planetside. Clunky, to say the least.

You can chain a long string of commands together using the $$ so you can bind all that to 1 single key.

Yep, same kinda syntax in CoH macros and keybinds... and I still want a simple button on the options screen.
    I'm lazy that way. :p

definatly agree on this, sitting and trying to get the ui perfect on another character is a pain without words to describe it.
