Interiors+Non combat=Disaster!

Yes I know what you're thinking and you're totally right! I'm talking about the Next Gen episode Disaster, (why..what were you thinking of :p )

Given we will soon have interiors and Cryptic is gearing up to be more non combat how about the devs and everyone take a look over this episode again for inspiration? Mini game haven potentially. i.e. stranded on bridge need to do *insert cool-named techno sounding mini game here!* to get something online and so on until you have the ship back to a state to fly. Rough around the edges I know but thought I would throw it out there.

Also still hoping for a strip button on the ship fittings screen :p

    90% of star trek took place on the ship, so im hoping that we get to see loads on missions take place in our interiors

    Do the new ship interiors have bathrooms? I want a Klingon mini game called "Will It Flush".... You put random items in the toilet and try to flush them....

    I think its a winner.

    90% of star trek took place on the ship, so im hoping that we get to see loads on missions take place in our interiors

    QFT, I'd love to see ships become a major focus, I want the experience of sitting in my ready room and bring briefed by Starfleet Command on my next mission then i go out to the bridge and decide i want to craft instead of fly in Sector space and just tell my helm to take us to the mission while im down in the Engineering lab doing crafting.

    I want my Captain to live IN my ship, not ON my ship (s hull like it is now)

    Agreed completely, game needs a massive infusion of "Trekiness"

    why not a ship mini game of diagnostics. It might not sound intresting but rerouting power has been mini games in lots of startrek games. Give repair kits as standard awards and ship parts. In sick bay have a heal patient minigame, heal your crew various ways cure diff plagues etc by creating antidotes. Give crew injury kits as standard rewards and things like armor etc so you "dont get so hurt next time" type deal.

    Each area could give specific rewards, engineering for engine repair, ops for shields, science for sensors, tactical for weapons etc etc. Tactical diagnostic could be a minigame of locking phasers and photons like a version of asteriods =) wouldnt that be pimp?

    Remember how, in the last movie, Pavel Chekov had to lock onto the away team to transport them in like we've never seen before?

    That looked A LOT like a game to me.

    I love this idea! It seems like a really obvious use of the new interiors, and building a mission around the idea of mini-games on the various decks (restore power in engineering, help injured crew in sickbay, and fix the sensors/helm on the bridge) would be great.

    Bonus points if they were able to use your bridge crew as skins for your player character so you're another member of your crew on each deck, but even without it, it'd be easy enough to just have your captain starting in engineering and then completing tasks on each deck to progress to the bridge.

    no, but klingon ships do have a brig.

    im hoping one day i arrive back from an away mission with my team and find all my crew has been infected with a virus tghat de evolves them;)

    i bet klingon toilets flush the other way:D

    Are you kidding, Klingon facilities probably fight you until you make it submit....besides have you seen what they eat????
