Given we will soon have interiors and Cryptic is gearing up to be more non combat how about the devs and everyone take a look over this episode again for inspiration? Mini game haven potentially. i.e. stranded on bridge need to do *insert cool-named techno sounding mini game here!* to get something online and so on until you have the ship back to a state to fly. Rough around the edges I know but thought I would throw it out there.
Also still hoping for a strip button on the ship fittings screen

QFT, I'd love to see ships become a major focus, I want the experience of sitting in my ready room and bring briefed by Starfleet Command on my next mission then i go out to the bridge and decide i want to craft instead of fly in Sector space and just tell my helm to take us to the mission while im down in the Engineering lab doing crafting.
I want my Captain to live IN my ship, not ON my ship (s hull like it is now)

Each area could give specific rewards, engineering for engine repair, ops for shields, science for sensors, tactical for weapons etc etc. Tactical diagnostic could be a minigame of locking phasers and photons like a version of asteriods
That looked A LOT like a game to me.
Bonus points if they were able to use your bridge crew as skins for your player character so you're another member of your crew on each deck, but even without it, it'd be easy enough to just have your captain starting in engineering and then completing tasks on each deck to progress to the bridge.
no, but klingon ships do have a brig.
