Picasso's blue period was 1901-1904, NOT 2409.... or 2010 for that matter.

I issue a formal challenge to all Dev's: I challenge the Dev's not to use the color blue for interiors anymore.

Seriously though, they use WAAAAAAYYYYYYY TOO MUCH BLUE.

Didn't you know that Giygas sent the Happy Happy Cult into the future after he/it lost their influence over them? They then re-designed the LCARS to make people happy in a time of war.

It all makes perfect sense now!!!

While we're on the subject of stuff that the Dev's will never change... EVER. I'd like to give them some examples of how MUSIC could also be used in an Epic Style.

    Here's STO Music:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lW5nyJWF-O8&feature=PlayList&p=FB5D734F1A6665E9&playnext_from=PL&playnext=1&index=6

Compare that to... idk... something epic from mass effect 2:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3r2txD68qnw&feature=related

    Or another example:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQl_1yH2nbQ&feature=PlayList&p=C42786BAD8576AC9&playnext_from=PL&playnext=1&index=17

    vs Epic:

I mean, I get how the Dev's wanted to be original... but REALLY!?! Even the Star Trek TV series/movie series had a better sound track.

    Shoot even Troololo was better:

I don't find either of your examples any more appealing than the STO music, personally. But, I turn music off in MMO's anyway.

Why care about the game music when they integrate your music player into the interface? If you dont like what STO came up with play that other music on your media player and pretend it came with the game.

MMO music in general isn't very good. With single player RPGs they can spend big bucks to get high end conductors and orchestras. Not so with MMOs. Which is fine. The music is decent.

    Well that sounds nice.

But too much blue isn't good either.

All this blue on blue and everything has to be blue gets me very frustrated and depressed. I am getting sick of the color so to speak.

I know it wasn't their intention.

They should give us more options. I would love the color scheme the U.S.S. Enterprise-E interiors had for example.

While I agree, perhaps their rendering engine isn't capable of producing ship-based mass colors on the scale as they do in their skyboxes inside systems... shrug.

I do know I would love to see stuff like this... color splashes everywhere.

Which is why I said in the first place, TRIBBLE that the Dev's won't change. lol

Same with this blue stuff, it looks over all bad but someone at Cryptic actually said:

DEV 1: I'll have a blue ship interior with shades of blue mixed in with blue lighting with blue interfaces and that looks AWESOME.

DEV 2: Wow, that looks totally cool, what are you going to do next?

DEV 1: I'm going to add that color scheme for almost every bridge I make!

DEV 2: WOW, GREAT IDEA, you're going to go far in this company.

DEV 1: I know, right!?! No one get's tired of one color scheme!

    lol
