I don't know about anyone else, but I think it would be nice to issue a "Standard Orbit" command. This would put you a few thousand kilometers away from the planet in a circumference pattern. The term Standard Orbit is so familiar in Star Trek, I am a little surprised to see that it isn't there.
Forgive me if this is a dead horse, I am fairly new to the game (still in my 30 day free trial after purchase) and I am enjoying it so far, but was surprised to find this not available.

Agreed. I often find myself retooling just after or prior to a mission (or even at Starbase) and would enjoy the movement of an orbit command without worrying that I am going to fly offscreen.
Yes, I agree that the Standard Orbit command would be a good feature. I have often wished they had something along those lines when doing Aid the Planet missions. If you need to buy anything from your replicator, you will just keep orbiting the planet then.
I agree that it would be nice to be able to have command to enter orbit. It was standard on all the Star Trek series, and it's reasonable that it should be available in STO also.
