Well as i was typing Crptics Killed our original post, I was replying lol
well all joking aside, this thread is not pointless as one points out, these developers need telling, Think of it like politics and our withdrawn vote as a large community :-)
My 10 pence worth.
Basically most of us left STO like 2 months after release, i.e when we all completed it and had no more content to play. But! as STAR TREK is a great Sci-Fi that we have many fans of, Cryptics had more of their time and money than most developers would. So STO we kept on supporting, with some great members in our community keeping it alive, God knows what they were doing, i just logged on for the odd 5 man mission.
We have moved on since i started my Fleet before beta and now a developing MGC with sponsorship options and Lan Cod4 Team to match ;-)
Gaming communities do talk to each other you know and we are on the side of the gamers wanting decent games developed for us all rather than very thin MMO's "sexed up" underdeveloped, BIG TIME FALSE ADVERTISEMENT and quite frankly unacceptable. So Pulling out and not giving them anymore money is the point, as in Jog on Cryptics.
In my mind the only people left here are full on trekkers with a great social MMO developed for then.
Good bye Cryptcs, and all you supporting Trekkers, I wont miss these forums!
I've never heard of the British Guards (In STO) before now, so in all honesty, you musn't be THAT big a group...
Course it's sad that another big bunch of people are leaving. But I bet some of your members will still be playing, and that its simply your not supporting it officially =/

Ditto. Also in before the lock we know that's coming because how we all know they lock these threads.

Another thread because Cryptics dont like the truth! Deleted the other
again ill say im sorry to see you go and sorry you did not enjoy yourself. even though its star trek and we all love star trek (well most of us) every game is not for every person
hope you come back in the future when the game is more to your taste or you find another game to enjoy
You trying to explain, it still an illegal I quit thread. It will get locked yet again. That's all this is.
Your group leaving will have no effect upon the game as any other groups leaving already has. None.
Whilst you guys are dissatisfied with the game and are leaving, there's countless more that are satisfied, and if you checked around forums and in game, I've found the number of new non-demo players is on the rise. And many older players are still around enjoying themselves, so there is a lot of people that are pleased.
I quit threads are nothing more than thinking your leaving will make an influential impact.

if your referring to the one a few moments ago 'The British Guards Are Pulling Out Of Sto' they did not delete it, they closed it down because of the OP basically just said goodbye and nothing else. it was a bit pointless and adds no constructive criticism
one thing i will say that has always bothered me is if anyone wants to post criticism then dont put 'i quit' anywhere in it. that way it will be left up.
to start a thread saying 'i quit' knowing its against the rules then complain that cryptic dont listen when you know full well that it will be closed down is just playing for sympathy.
if anyone wants to leave and has some points they want to make just say it without saying your leaving. its pretty simple.
