    you won't be missed :)

    do you know why?

because the probability of meeting you in game.... even if it was just us two on the server alone would be 1:99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999, do you know why?
    because it's a SPORPG :D

:mad:What a pointless thread, what was the purpose of posting this!? If you don't like the game fair enough, don't try and spread your ill feeling to the rest of us... We don't need people like you in the game.

Whatever... Apparently, your fleet isn't all that big or noteworthy, because I haven't heard of it before today... Come to think of it, I don't think I've even heard of you before... Have a nice trip to whatever MMO you're going to quit next...

    Buh-bye...

Hey, I do it all the time. I am both an Englishman and I am British. Britain is my country, part of that whole "For Queen and Country" thing. But England is my home within Britain and is my cultural identity. The two are interlinked - they are not mutually exclusive.

    Finally someone who understands :D
Something I always have to tell people off about heh

Anyways more to thread topic, seen fleet name before only (when I was looking for a fleet to join), so other then that dunno who the fleet is so unless a more detailed explaination is provided to discuss more indepth with they're particular problem about the game it won't help much towards improving the game in general.

    So in short.... bye

i never want to see anybody leave but does this include every single member or just the leaders, or just this one person who speaking for everybody regardless of whether they are leaving or not?

how many people are we talking about leaving here, 1, 10, 100?

I thought it might of been something of a disbanding the fleet thing, which is still the British Guards leaving the game in some fashion.

So is the entire Fleet Leaving? If so, that's one hell of a "Fleet Action". Kudos on banning together on this one. I am sad to see you leave though. But here's something... STO is not all that bad, but if you still can't handle it just close the curtains, I'm sure it'll go away.

I have never understood why so many Brits have to put things like "UK" in their name, or run around with a UK flag on their signature, and make "British" fleets, clans, guilds, outfits, agencies, etc. Are you Brits who do that trying to compensate for something?

What happened to "being ever ready for a knockdown blow..." :D
It's cool that some people in a British fleet are leaving... now if it were the Germans or the Danes then I'd be concerned.

I'm all for anything that annoys the French but the Dutch played remarkably well at the World Cup in those little wooden shoes, so I'll give them a pass for 6 months or so.

Really ? i paid for lifetime and regret it.When TOR comes out all games will be dead to maany players for years to come. Everyday there is no real reson for me to log in anymore.Nothing to do.Makes me sad, had high hopes for this game, thats why i paid for lifetime.I mean its just hard to have fun in this "MMO" when there is no raids no real pvp and silly things like i'm dead and my crew is dead but my ship is still fighting  and the Borg is making my screen go all red and flashing(se my sig)Things like that making me regret my lifetime.

But if you really love this game and really KNOW you will be playing this game for years then go ahead, but if you are in a guild and suddenly find yourself alone on ventrilo because everyone else is in another channel playing TOR dont say i dident warn you :p

I see nothing wrong with it, if people are proud of where they come from and want to let you know it, then let them do what they want.

    You guys are harsh.

They aren't leaving per say but merely performing the ceremony changing of the guard.

I'm sure they will do it with some English flair too.

Who ever said you wont be missed because the chances of bumping into you in game is slim anyway, is right.
This over-instanced game totally does away with the feeling of community, and belonging to a persistant virtual world.
Its a single player game with a weak chat room.

Such lack of in game identity and suspension of disbelief ..I can't call this a MMO.

But anyway, hope you guys find a good game to join up again in. This is not a game for longevity and community. Its a wham, bam, thank you ma'am single player game.

    TTFN

Canadian now, born in England then.

So..........Rule Britannia...........and.............O Canada I stand on guard for thee.

    Nothing wrong with nationalistic pride.

    ...didn't bother reading replies

...But how is this any mroe improtant than any other "I quit" threads? It's an immature jab at attention thinking their nerd-rage I quit over content is going to be seen as more important than any other I quit people, or the actually dev noted complaint threads?

No, it will be locked and then lost in the void without so much as a footnote.

That is the importance of you lot, not due to any past actions, but due to this illegal action. (Read forum rules, hence no respect deserved since you didn't)

If you wanted your voices heard realistically, post complaints in a mature way, I've seen many of mine and others have been given a DM nod when posted, and WOW, actually fixed or being tended to.

So, knowing that, this is an inflated ego I quit thread with visions of self-importance that this will be seen as more important than any others.

Unknowns don't get missed. Unknowns don't get any extra notice.
