Why don't we allow all admirals to retrofit any style ship in the game so we can chose what we wish to fly.
This will give us more choice as to the look and variety ship we fly.
End game all looks way too similiar as it is, personally on my science alt i would of loved to upgrade my nova all the way to Admiral level. (And before people say its too old watch Voyager :Endgame the Nova is in that episode which takes place in this timeframe)

that endgame nova is open to discussion as some say it is the rode island class, descended from the nova but different. Anyway that aint a problem
Average life span of federation vessels is between 70-120 years so a Nova is possible, however it would ofcourse never be as powerfull as say a bigger intrepid and there is lies the problem game wise as we can only do what we want if we upgrade them beyond there means.
However seeing they already do that with he galaxy class (which people is really quite damn old) I see no reason why they won't again.
