Ship interior Screens Here!

These screens are all from the defiant. Although it must be some alternative, fluidic, trans-dimensional defiant that's been dragged thorugh a spacial rift backwards by its TRIBBLE as the interior is simply MASSIVE! All rooms are joined by corridoors with trecky sliding doors that open AFTER you have gone thorugh them lol.

Ready room with customisable trophy wall: http://files1.guildlaunch.net/guild/library/145472/Int%20Ready%20Room.jpg

Crew Lounge (if this is the defian't loung can't wait to get lost for a month in a Sovi's lounge :) : http://files1.guildlaunch.net/guild/library/145472/Int%20Lounge.jpg

Engineering (remember this from the tutorial?): http://files1.guildlaunch.net/guild/library/145472/Int%20Eng.jpg

Captain's Quarters (It's a stateroom at the ritz!): http://files1.guildlaunch.net/guild/library/145472/Int%20Cap%20Quar.jpg

Engineering lab (unfortuntaely exactly the same as the medical bay :( : http://files1.guildlaunch.net/guild/library/145472/Int%20Eng%20Lab.jpg

While I understand the camera mechanics of why the rooms and corridoors have to be so big it does rather spoil an otherwise excellent addition.

People may think WOW BIG but once you add the UI, 5 players, Adds, Special effects it will do seem so big. Not only that Star Trek ships are big big big. Most people do not get how big they are the Enterprise-D was 500,000 metric tons. That is the size of five nimitz class aircraft carrier.

Not bad, but that warp core just doesn't sit right with me. The dilithium chamber looks too big as compared to the rest of the core, and why have it sit up so high that you'd need a ladder to access it? That's assuming there isn't a mezzanine that leads to it, I didn't see one myself.

Can we sit in the chairs yet or have they not fixed that? Plus, all this stuff is sweet but can we do anything while we're there aside from stare at the walls (and the obvious social interactions/invites)?

Only in the ready room can you personalise the trophy display. Otherwise it is completely uninteractive for now - but the devs have said they are working on interactivity for the future.

Also in Ten-Forward, you can personalize trophies there also and it even has a floor trophy.

I missed the part about it being the Defiant. I'm assuming then that yellowish thing on the right side gives access to the core. That actually brings me to this point, Where are the PTCs? All this energy being generated, but there doesn't appear to be anywhere for it to go.

Actually, from what I can tell, the interiors seem to be generic to any ship.

At the ship editor, where you can select your bridge, you now have an option to select a small, medium, or large interior. All this seems to really effect is the arrangement of the corridors and how the various rooms are attached. All the rooms, from map to map, appear to be identical. So the lounge is the same lounge on any ship and the same lounge if you selected small or large.

Larger plans tend to have longer corridors and more corridors that lead off to nothingness. Small plans have the rooms more compact to each other and less wandering hallways. Other then that, there is no difference between rooms or ship type.

All one needs to do is open the large map while on any engineering or living deck and you can see all three types.

I have seen a lot of talk about ship interiors but my question is when do we get them. I have yet to see a date, plus when I check my bridge I get nothing other then leaving the bridge. can anyone clear up when we are going to get these

They're a good start, but they are too big in general. I posted some screens to illustrate this. Consider, for example, that the archway in the Captain's Quarters is nearly 20 feet high, and the ceiling is higher than that!

    Too, too big.

Well thanks for taking the time to post. However, you didn't really answer my question. I was hoping to find out when and how I can get the ready room for my bridge?

Ich have made a walkthrough video of my galaxy-x cruiser. If interested, you can watch it here:

    Part 1
    Part 2.

It shows all rooms and a little of the new trophy feature, which will allow to add trophies to the wall of the readyroom.

    Have fun with it.
