All of my interiors windows just show blackness, sorta like a tint on the window, does not matter which interior or bridge I am using they all show this.
(Also still sad that my borg boff still shows up as generic npc on my bridge.)
get some sleep DStahl !!!! We need you here in a clear state of mind !!!!
let the marketing and billing departments burn themselves out for all we care....but you !?! no no no no no.
we need you fresh, fed, and comfy ....... because you are the one who can placate the crazies.
(..I always wondered why they called them crazies and not just plain old zombies in that movie...)....
I digress (surprise surprise)..... got you blankie ?
.
Because George made a concious effort to make them NOT zombies, but "safe" people (neibors, friends, family, etc) that just go "crazy" - he felt this would make it scarier. Same with the remake (they wanted to stay mostly true to the original, but punch it up a notch). So, basically, they aren't the dead reanimated, they are the living gone crazy to the point of zombieness!
I have two issues with ship interiors. One is the Klingon ships. Fed ships have crew walking around, but my starter Kling ship didn't have any crew walking around in it, all I have is Bridge/BOff crews. My other issue is that I too have seen nothing but blackness outside the windows of both the Fed and Kling ships.

Me too on the blackness.
And the scale is off... I could drive a car in the hallway lol
that's not going to happen. while his work does not take up all of his time, his baby does, and his baby is not letting him sleep. ( on the bright side he has taken the time to post when the baby wakes him up. )
Youd think theyd fix that BEFORE filling the ships with gigantic halls you know?
Ah, Im being told IRL that they said they cant fix the halls because the cameras dont work right in smaller spaces.
that's true. that was thier excuse.
poor excuse to use since everyone hates it..... you'd think they go out of their way to fix a majority gripe.... even if it takes time and resources on thier part ...
eventually it will bite them in the butt if they dont rectify it.
It would also be AWESOME to be able to like edit objects in your quarters and ready room. Like put a bottle on the shelf. Books or whatever. And make these random objects things you find on other ships during missions or things like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thewyre too busy on CStore items and UGC lol
(thats meant as a joke for those that dont understand that)
sounds like a bug - which bridge are you in when you see this in your interior?
This is a TOTAL aside, BUT I DO hope DStahl is home, and the only reason he's posting is because he had to get up for a 2:30 AM feeding for the little one, and figured "I'm up, the kid's drinking, what the hell, might as well check the Forums."
Because if these guys are still in the office, again, while I do recognize and appluad dedication, please don't burn yourselves out, as I really like the currenbt STO Dev team, and would hate to see them loose people to other companies/projects because of not wanting to work 24/7 on such a regular basis. Seriously.
looks all great, damn good work... but i saw that the option small, medium, large only affect the length of the floors... sorry but my escort got a 20meters warpcore??? hopefully you will include the size of the rooms into that option too...

Yep, noticed the same thing this morning when I was checking out my Ready Room on my Engineer; using the Triumph bridge on the Tier 2 (Cheyenne/Dakota/Stargazer) cruiser.
Seems it was only in the Ready Room too; pretty sure the Lounge and Captain's Quarters had a starfield outside the windows...

I see stars and some nebula.

You do realize the Federation ended slavery centuries ago, right?

it's pretty inexcusable though for STO..... just way way out of proportion, and it's pretty unanimous that it's annoying....lol
I havent seen any posts that the hallways are cool....hehe.
Im just seeing the "you outdid youeselves with interiors" threads and as the hallways are part of the interior.... lol
I also need to figure out how to see the stars O.o

true..but....
the hallways are like that everywhere, and have been for the whole life of the game to date....not just the ship interiors.... so it's no surprise.
Devs still get props for the interiors and amount provided in this first round.
.... cant wait for the day they actually DO fix the halls....people will dance a boogie.
