Cryptic great job people that are saying its to dull or blah blah blah just don't know it takes time to do all if it but this was a great start. Good job cryptic keep up the good work :) and whoever worked on them tell them thumbs up .:)


ooo and the fire cave trophy is Crazy looking LOL good job on that one to :)

    Currently dling the patch for Tribble...can't wait to check out the ship interiors.

    It does highlight something...(not wanting to start a gimme gimme so soon after this comes out)

    We need a universal uniform option for the crew now.

    The universal uniforms would be cool but i imagine the work for that would be crazy.

    All I can say is... WOW!

    I really wasn't expecting anything this awesome; but it is... I'm so... I don't even know... just WOW!

    Add to that the new look for sector space which is just as well done and my poor KDF Orion (with all her new fancy uniform options) feels short-changed again... but in a good way. :D

    Considering how much work this must have been for the artists, I wasn't expecting any choice at all, but we're getting small, medium, and large.

    Just hopped onto Tribble for a few mins to check out the ship interiors. All I can say is... WOW! That is outstanding! Can't wait for it to go live.

    The universal uniforms would be cool but i imagine the work for that would be crazy.

    Make it an option from a console in the Ready Room. Three options: Science, Engineering and Tactical... Applies uniform styles to apropriate NPCs. Costs 10x the number of credits required for Bridge Officer uniforms. High price due to changing the style for one's entire crew.

    Well, the Interiors seem to be pretty ok, but i would not say, they are "OUTSTANDING WOW", yet. But since they have put much work in them already, i suppose this is not a "fire and forget" project and improvements will be made over time :)

    you do have to admit that what they released to us hounds was well beyond what we were expecting.


    The devs gained many "grand kudos coins" from that endeavor.


    I am willing to even say they went above and beyond.

    (granted they are not perfect, and I hate gymnasium sized hallways...but this is much much more than I thought they would release..) :)

    I imagine it wouldn't be that crazy at all, considering that there was a feature that did just that in closed beta. Why they took it out is beyond me.

    And I agree. Despite my little disappointments, I'm pretty happy with the interiors that have been created. It's a great foundation to hopefully build off of in the future.

    I can't believe people are knocking the interiors. I was gobsmacked as soon as the doors to my ready room swooshed open and I could see my ready room.

    Further, when I went in to the turbolift, the same swoosh! When I got to the crew deck and saw all my crew I was quite pleased.

    I have spent probably 5-10 minutes in the latest released patch to Tribble because I can almost not contain my happiness and excitement at the great work Cryptic has done for us.


    In my next post I will tell you how I really feel! ;)

    you do have to admit that what they released to us hounds was well beyond what we were expecting..

    oh please... we are so used to getting squat that we fawn over simple things that take little intense effort to produce. It is rather disgusting that people so wanted interiors that they are falling over themselves to congratulate Cryptic for 'blowing it out of the water'.

    They added simple things that really don't do much at this point, save add the whole 'ooo i'm on a ship doing something' factor.

    sliding doors, basic corridors and rooms have all been done before. Not saying they are not nice, just saying that they are NOT special...in the least.

    someone has to have a balanced voice of reason.

    I can't help it if some people get overly-excited by a simple door that swooshes open... which has been done in game since oh, the 70s.

    Anyhoo, enjoy the cool superduper feeling of happiness!!! Yea!!!!!! doors and a room that looks star trek!! weeeeeee!!!!!!

    People complain that the GAME is not canon, so Cryptic does a killer job of adding a bit of realism and the building blocks for later greater things and they whine..... what'z next.....

    Me.... I think they mod showed care and concern that they want to do the thing right. I'm just happy to get a transporter room....... now if I could only set the transporter to maximum dispersal and load it with all the QQ'rs ..........

    Like I said, it's not bad, but certainly not anything to write home about... or that difficult, new, special, or well, useful at this point.

    Do I like it? Of course. Will I crawl up and kiss their bum? No. Just saying.

    I'd tell him to start his own thread to whine... er... complain, but in all fairness If he does, a bunch of us would drop in there and buzzkill his thread.

    He's entitled to his opinion, because that is all it is. OPINION.

    The fact is that Cryptic HAS outdone themselve in terms of waht I was expecting to see.. So much can potentially be done with this... I can't wait til the UGC stuff starts coming out,

    i think the interiors are very nice but i do want to see more stuff added over time, as im sure it will.
    we should be getting some mini games to go with it and i believe they want to put stuff on the bridge and engineering that will affect the ships performance later on, not to mention the possibility of mission on-board, crew interactions etc.

    this is just the first step in the process not the finished product, and its a very good first step.

    Thank you for your support of my right to express my opinion. All subjective, yet somehow I don't go berating people that feel it is special and the greatest thing ever.

    I am glad you were impressed and find it to exceed your standards of what you thought they would do. That kinda goes to my very first point in the thread.
