I would honestly like to see everyones ideas that they'd like to see in the Klingon faction. Firstl off, I know there's a whole board dedicated to Klingon's but I see quite a bit of Fed stuff on here, so why not suggest some more Klington stuff here too? Secondly, lets not make this a "Feds gets this and that and Klingons don't get anything!" thread, and lastly, post only specific ideas of what you would like to see other than something as general as "More PvE content" or "More ship customization" because lets be real, we haven't seen much diversity of Klingon ships or storylines on the shows which is what most of this community is familiar with. In that case if you do have pics of Klingon uniforms, ships, etc. that's not already in the game and you feel should be added, please go ahead and post.
I know I heard Dstahl say something (I think it was STOked) about putting off adding the Romulan faction until he gets more content for the Klingons, so why don't we try to get some of our own ideas on here? I have a few ideas myself but I honestly havent played KDF enough to have as much ideas as some of you probably have. So this thread can in include costumes, ships, storylines, etc. So here's a couple of things I'd like to see...
Adjustable wings for the Bird of Prey: Something minor that I'd like to see, problem I see is when or why would they adjust wings? I've noticed that in
ST 3 and 4 that the wings usually folded up when they were in full impulse or landing, so maybe when we hit full impulse or are in sector space the wings raise.
Costume ideas: It honestly baffles me why there's no robes for the Klingons since Feds already have it. I know I said lets not make this a Fed vs Klingon thread but it's just something that I can't wrap my head around. Even the Klingon NPCs have robes and you see them wear them quite often in the series and movies. Another thing I'd like to see is eye patches, I love the bolted eyepatch (It looks bolted anyways lol) that General Chang wears in ST 6. In fact, I think that whole movie is a good refference costume ideas (
Gorkon's uniform, his
daughter's headwear, etc.)
Make Qo'Nos more navigational: Maybe it's just because of my inexperience with playing a Klingon but I find myself wandering around on Qo'Nos trying to find what I'm looking for. I'm not expecting signs in english on the walls to guide me like in the Solar System Spacedock, but maybe some UI markers. Maybe we could have signs with Klingon words and you hover over it with your mouse and a word box comes up saying what it is. Even better (and this is for both Fed's and Klingon's) put labels on each area in the map.
Well that's all I have for now, looking forward to seeing other people's ideas.

Do you guys mean PvE missions? Costumes? what exactly?
As for me? I usually play fed but I have a Gorn character I play sometimes.
What would I like to see?
The Gorn Orion etc ships available for Klinks.
With a small but 'there' bonus when a race uses a ship of its race. (small enough to ignore for aesthetics if desired)
More Costumes + 'off duty costumes' especially Merc-Type stuff, or stuff that more lax/non Klingon crews might wear in lieu of their culture's usual dress.
3-to-8 PvE missions for Each non-Klingon race where you get to choose between mission outcomes, on the one hand you can choose to become a loyal servant of the empire, a true Klingon warrior...
on the other you can pledge loyalty to your race above the empire and rebel, making the empire an enemy denying you access to Quo-nos, but gaining you access to special gear on your homeworld and more race bonuses.
In that vein, The Gorn Orion and Naussican home-worlds = much desired.
Also, a 'House' mechanic, where after a set of 2-to5 PvE missions, if you are loyal to the empire you can choose a house to join and gain specific house related bonuses and special gear/costume stuff.
You would then always be with that house in KvK PvP, and there would be a house score, that battles won for your house would increase.
you would also get a slight +bonus to XP for killing challenging, dueling, etc enemies of your house, or teaming and finishing missions with players from your house.
Fleets would be able to either be house-neutral and take players of all houses, or be house loyal and only take players from their house, but would give members an added house bonus on top of the existing one.
In this sense, rebelling to say, a pro-Gorn anti-Klingon stance would be like being in a house, just an all Gorn house that means you can only level up into Gorn ships.....
As a note, Orions would not be able to take, for example, Naussican loyalty missions and rebel to their side, they have to rebel and become Orions, or join the Klingons.
So in the end Gorn can choose to say, become rebelling Gorn, or join a Klingon house.
Klingons can choose to simply join a house.
I suggest there be 3 Klingon houses, 2 that anyone can join, and 1 for Klingons themselves only with added bonus, but also an added con.
This offsets the fact that the other races have an option the Klingons dont.
Instead of every Orion woman or Lethean merc being greeted by a gung ho "For honor, glory, and the Empire!" contact, maybe something like a Gorn saying "Let's prove we're thankful to the Klingons for liberating us from the Undine plot!" You could even have Gorn missions that end with a choice similar to the Drake Section 31 mission, where you have to choose your loyalty to the Klingon saviors, or the Gorn that want to be more independent.
There are now at least 5 races, they're not all about combat and honor like the Klingons. Let's bring that out of the woodwork.
^_^
or at the very least tiers 3 and 4
orion, nausicaan and gorn ships
tons more pvp maps. perhaps maps that on;ly the klingons can access to for capture and hold and arena to try and get them to play kvk a bit more
plus a territory control pvp sector (although that applies to feds and klingons)
a few more pve klingon missions every now and then. even if its just one or two a season to go along side the neutral faction missions
A faction purely pvp based is a very bad idea. It attracts a very very very narrow market.
Adding pvp content isnt going to attract new players. Adding 200 new pve missions from the initial Klingon level to the highest level is a must.
PVP is not what make MMOs go.
