Idea for Legendary Items (and planets no one really goes to)

I thought I would post an my ideas about how I would like to see gold items (legendary, uniques, or whatever mmo term you want to use) into the game.

I'll begin with functionality.
Obviously, Gold items would be better then the endgame purple items you buy (which have 3 modifiers). I envision gold items also having 3 modifiers of the similar varity as are already in game (CritH, CritD, Acc...). However I believe these items should also have a 4th unique modifier that sets them above (but not by much) the other item qualities. this special modifier could also be something we've seen before, but the possibilities for this really are endless.

some examples
- ground weapons with attack modifiers such as knockback, stun, weapon malfunction, range, at a high % chance.
-Shields with special properties, such as extra regen for damage given to enemy sheilds. or something
-engines with a 4th modifier would be special enough , like a Full x4 or turn x4
-Special kits, maybe with an extra ability but balanced out by not being all max level 3s, or maybe just unique kits with a set of abilities unlike what is already in game.

*these are just rough Ideas of how it could work and not really the point I'm trying to make,

-These items should be uncraftable and not earn-able through badges/stores.
-They should exist at the lower levels MK as well, since there is no real reason why they shouldn't
-They should always be drops, either from unique enemies or bosses.

Now for my second idea about how these could be added to the game.
I think it is sad that the early game sectors are basically unused by admirals as well as any higher level characters. wouldn't it be cool if these planets (like P'Jem) had admiral level 'miniraids' where a simple repeatable side mission could take place (accepted by NPCs on whatever planet), say for example the monks are being attacked by an unidentified wildlife creature. This creature would be a unique boss (and difficult to beat) but would also give a small chance of dropping a unique items (maybe one that is named or related to the planet it can be dropped on, or something) dieing against the creature would let you respawn as normal, but would significantly lower the chance of a unique drop or remove the chance entirely. maybe even make the lead up to the boss fight short enough that repawning wouldn't even be an issue and the player would just restart the mission. These repeatable 'microraids' wouldn't even need to be admiral level really, since the legendary items and enemies could just be scaled to whatever the player's level is.
they could even add random quests and come up with anything really, even on planets such as Risa. and obviously give a chance for them to drop in other missions and STFs.

*when I say low chance of dropping i mean VERY LOW, i would hate to see the exchange flooded with legendary items from farmers.

I haven't really thought this through all that well but wanted to share my basic idea. I think legendary items in this game would be a big boost in making the loot more interesting, and using the many planets we only visit for a single mission would be a good way to bring extra value to these areas for players. look at P'Jem, its probably one of the most beautiful and well designed ground areas in the game, and its sad that we only see it for one mission. throw in a random boss miniquest to play later for a chance to get a unique item and suddenly the monks will have a lot more tourists.

lemme know what you guys think, feel free to add any ideas you might have related to this or build upon what I have said since what i have said is pretty rough around the edges
