******* NOTE: This is mearly an idea for a Long Term addition to the Game! ********
I was thinking that somewhere along the line Cryptic (If it keeps updating the Game with content at the rate it is doing so now) is soon gonna "Run out of Room" or essentially will need to introduce new Quadrant, and so as any star trek fan would I watched an Episode of Voyager and came up with the idea of introducing the
Delta Quadrant to the Star Trek Online Universe! it would present countless possibilities to further the game such as:
- All new items
- Missions
- Races
- Factions
- PvP Maps, Territory's etc..
*** I came up with these in a matter of seconds! feel free to add/remove things on the list! ***
But one of the biggest things that would be renewed is the fact that if they modelled and based the new Quadrant around the events and experiences in the Voyager series than players would get that weird and wondrous feeling of being a part of the TV show!
Another major addition to the game would be the opportunity to create more Undine content, seeing as the Undine were first introduced to us in the Episode ''
Scorpion"
anyway it was just an idea had, and I started searching the forums for a post like this but was unable to find one! anyway I just wanted to get other peoples opinion on the idea and aspect of adding the Delta Quadrant to the Game!

The Gamma Quadrant, IMO, would be the better choice since it is less developed than the Delta Quadrant. Therefore, the devs have an easier job of making new content without players complaining that race X should look like this.
As for the delta quadrant, whats not to say thet couldnt do a 24 mission arc of you getting zapped into the quadrant ala Voyager and you literally have to survive those missions before getting back, thus setting up future missions when they add the quadrant as a whole.
Hmm, that would actually be pretty cool.
Also, we have a giant wormhole next to DS9 that can just take us there. It should be really simple to start adding a sector or two to the Gamma Quadrant.
That's the Gamma Quadrant.
Hence why I said "Gamma Quadrant" in my post, which was replying to someone else who was talking about it.
