GO WATCH :P

We get hands-on with Season 2 of Star Trek Online and cover the new game play updates coming to the game! Was Dabo worth the dev time? Is Diplomacy chalk full of excitement, or a big old bore? And what about the fleet emblems, slipstream drive, and missions galore? We'll share the details in this first look at the new content that's landed on Tribble.

We'll cover the news you might have missed, including the fact that the latest Ask Cryptic mentions FaceBook integration! Does this tie in to the controversy over Blizzard's RealID fiasco, or did Cryptic do it right?

PLUS – We've got your suggestions on improving the way you warp around in Star Trek Online … it's your Sector Space improvement ideas!

Good episode. The new look of Sector Space is promising, to say the least.

here is a little pro tip.

when making the thread it is best to have the topic in the title, and if they have a question add that also. that will bring in more people.

also it helps to add the show's Synopsis like so.

And a disclaimer saying you are not part of Jupiter broadcasting will come in handy because it will stop people from sending you messages along the lines of "can I come on the show" " what is the new topic" and my favorite one " GIVE ME STO I WANT STO NOW"

    anyway I hope that helps.

Oh no I was talking about in game. you see when I started to post about STOked every week I started getting PMs, and tells in the game from people who I have not seen on the forums. part of the reason why I add a disclaimer is it cut it down a lot, but it doesn't stop it.

my favorite as I said was:

    him: Give me STO NOW
me: I can't I just post the link.
him liar Give me STO NOW Give me STO NOW Give me STO NOW Give me STO NOW Give me STO NOW Give me STO NOW Give me STO NOW Give me STO NOW Give me STO NOW ect

he / she did that for a minute. although I don't think a disclaimer would stop that, nor does mute because I don't put people on mute. ( other then credit spammers )

I think those random tells are just trolling you, Zodi. Even I don't get that many strange messages in-game.

if GM spent 1/4 the amount of time helping people with problems in game as they do looking to hand out infractions on the forums for minor things, then i firmly believe that there would be less complaints of the time it takes to get a GM response to petitions.

    just my 2 cents.

Since I can't reply in the thread where this first said:

Being able to Buy Levels is the Death of a Game.

Under no circumstances should people be able to buy their way to Captain in some kind of "instant level" package in the C-store.

No no no no no no.

    Stupid stupid stupid.

If they ~really~ want people to have higher levels of the new races as they come out they can offer a "race change" token.

But the idea that I can just start my alts at captain by ~Spending Real Money~ (oh and of course picking one of the new races) is just plain wrong in so many ways I'm amazed you guys smiled and shrugged at it.

Sweet Picard am I the only one that sees STO careening towards the ramp over the shark tank?
