Interesting Things you have done or seen in PvP

Due to the pvp dailies getting stuck on the capture and assault mission for almost a week, me and a couple of my fleet mates decided to have fun doing our own thing in the Space Salvage Capture and Hold match. After a couple of minutes, I suggested trying to suicide on the enemy base by attacking the turrets. So all three of us started attacking the turrets. I was mildly interested in seeing what would happen if all the turrets were taken down. We took out one or two groups of turrets before the opposing team was wondering what we were doing. The next match, we actually had another guy on our side come with us and do it as well. Even had a comment about "Quit camping our base". It was the most fun I had in a PvP zone.

What interesting stuff have you seen or done while in PvP?

For more amusing results, use scramble sensors on them instead.

Better yet for fun... full impulse to their base as fast as you can... hit Aux to Damp and ram the first fed you see.... then keep them from leaving that base at all costs. It is the funnest thing you can do. Try and win with only one base touched... golden. lol

PS CRYPTIC give us new maps before we get board out of our head... griefing people is the only fun left.

I'm all for a good round of pvp when the odds are stacked against you... but come on!

Note: At this point the 2nd Fed in that list had disconnected.

One guy in my side was annoying. Constantly whining about x and y in zone chat while we're fighting.

When he was near me fighting another escort, we got hit with scramble sensors.

    ...

I decided to heal the other guy instead, resulting in my indirect assist to mr annoying's death. Good times.

I used to enjoy activating tractor beam repulsers with evasive manoeuvres, and pushing enemy players way across the map while unloading everything I have into them. Trick was keeping them in front of you and don't go faster than the repulsers. Could usually move them about 20km and it's something unexpected.

I have seen Santa clause in a BoP don’t know if there was any deer pulling him along because he burst out to the other side of the crack planet. By the time the rest of us got there he was delivering his last present to the feds. I am not to sure how many feds were there but I seen three die from visual range man I was laughing my a$$ off. I believe he achieve 15 kills so that pretty dam funny.

I had a Klingon today tell me he dosent use Tractor Beam to hold people in place. The match ended before I could ask, Huh! what the he!! do you use it for?

    - Tractor beaming your own allies on purpose when jammed just for the heck of it
    - Ramming speed against allies while jammed in your premade
    - When asked in vent in Ker'Rat "Where the heck are all of these borg cubes coming from?", replying "Well, when a Mommy cube meets a Daddy cube ..."
    - Accidentally extending shields on a tricobalt torpedo
    - Forgetting you had autofire on, targetting an ally to heal, and then killing them before the heal fires off (all-weapon autofire lasted all of 1 match for me when they enabled it in 1.1 due to that happening)

I entered a game late-ish and appeared in the middle of a fight near our BoP starting point - right behind a wounded Fed cruiser. So i killed him and cloaked away.
There was much *****in in local chat during that game.

I was board in Ker'vat today... So I let a borg pin me in a tractor and waited for a fed to come for some revenge. I hit Evasive Manuvers while I was pinned... and the silly fed sat in front of me thinking he was going to kill me... I hit Aux to Dampeners and Ram right as it let me go.
We really need an open PvP zone... getting board and doing silly things is a passtime now.

Yeah, when I'm bored I usually play in Ker'Rat. The faction flip bug is amusing too when you queue for PvP in there and flip sides after the match. Always fun to run around shooting Feds and healing Raptors with your Star Cruiser :p.

I ran with plasma for awhile on my bop tonight... don't know just seem fun.
It was... running Evasive in a bop leaves it a little bit blotchy... effective to do the full impulse cloak plasma drop.
Then cloak and run away... funny as hell.

I almost had him.... one more second on that scramble......lol

Whenever I get scrambled in a match thats just ridiculously one-sided I start DPSing my own team in the hopes of killing them all, CSV is my very bestest friend.

I do enjoy a good Brace For Impact +evasive, +APB3 +APA3 ram though.

Does that still make the torpedo invulnerable?

Used to make it so the torp could not be shot.

Dunno, I just noticed I'd done it and swore at myself and never really paid attention to the torpedo after heh. I just went to heal the target I'd intended to extend on.

Someone claimed you could do something like that still, but I haven't tried it.

About a month ago I was PvPing (Tactical/Escort) at the and we were in a very equal match. The three Klingons were below 10% on Hull, and I was at 50% or so (I believe). I was screwed, shields were dropping quick. So, I hit Beam: Fire at Will and Ramming Speed. My phasers procd on two of the three players I think, pretty sure there were 2 BoP and 1 Raptor. Well, I hit the center one: Boom. The other two either didn't move (they were maybe a raptor's width away from the middle one) or the phasers procd and they were disabled, but they both went up to. So did I.

But it was truly hilarious to see me get a strike in space, on Klingons. They even gave me a laughing tell. It was a classic moment for the few of us. They still won.

Oh, just thought of another one. I'm flying head on against a BoP in a C&H map in my star cruiser. He jams me, and then battle-cloaks without me knowing since I was jammed. However, some other players' phasers were still in their cycle, so they were showing me his location in space when they fired. So I hit ramming speed and aimed for that spot, and critted him for 30k with the ram since the shields were down. We both chuckled at that one. Blind rams can be fun like that.

Those are always good... I have done that a few times. Even got lucky a couple times when there was no one pew pewing em. Just ram in the direction the shield is ticking.

I always follow it up in zone chat with a "Klinks get twitchy when they can't see things"

    Good times.

Recently I've started playing the Hunt for Red October in Ker'Rat. I come in real close, decloak and don't fire. Then I zip out and let them see me occasionally at the edge of their view distance... I won't fire unless they fire first, in fact, I usually wait till I'm at about 50% hull, with no shields before I fire back, just to give them a chance to see that I'm not returning fire. Sometimes I make it, sometimes I don't. I do however, hunt them down after I respawn, and unload an alpha strike. So far, it's worked every time. :D
