post the results of a tracert patchserver.crypticstudios.com and nettest
    Nettest:
    Go to http://files.champions-online.com/nettest.exe
Download this file and run it
A command prompt should appear running the test automatically

For good connections, column 1 and 3 have values around 500 kb/sec (outgoing/incoming), column 2 has values around 20 kb/sec (transfer rate). If the values in these columns is less than what is expected you may have filtering or blocked ports either on your personal network or from your ISP.

also post the dxdaig report of your system

    i tried this.
Is this supposed to fix the problem cause i dont see any improvement
At the moment i tried to unninstall the game and instal it to programfiles from the public flder which was it's default.
hope it solves the problem otherwise i feel pity with game servers.

what PegasusMD suggested trying wont fix anything its part of the pocess to help identify if there are any obvious issues with your connection which is why PegasusMD asked for the results to be posted to the forums. to copy the results from a command prompt (nettest etc) you will need to right click the window and select mark then select the area you want to copy, then paste into a new message

if you do choose to reinstall its recommended not to install games to program files under w7\vista

your nettest indicates you have some serious filtering going on the ports the game use. Specially on the critical ports of

    7003 (used by auth server)
    7255 (used by the patcher)

make sure you firewall and routers are allowing the ports 7000-7500 (tcp) open.
If the filtering is being caused by your isp or one of it's routing partner you may have to talk to them about the ports.
you can try using one of the proxy options in the lancher option (both game play and patching) to see if that helps.
also include the result of the tracert to see if there is a bad routing in the path to the servers

also the current location of the game installed in, you may have problems later. Vista and win 7 will break the game if it is installed in the program files directories .
    Quote from coderanger....

Fun fact, the game will break pretty frequently if you install to Program Files under Vista or Win7 because of a new security feature called Virtual Store (short version: it intercepts and rewrites file writes inside prog files to go somewhere else). That is why it is no longer the default install location on those platforms. There is no permanent way to disable this feature of Windows, so installing outside of Program Files is the best option. The "correct" place according to MS for this would be C:\ProgramData, but more games use Users\Public\Games that we wanted to go with the clearer one. The More You Know.

here is my new net test.

I entered my netgear router's firewall and at the outbound services i allowed all services.
Though im not sure if this was the critical factor i had so many dcs
The game now patches without restarting client and i get no diconects but i have some sprint back sometimes which is a little annoying.

do u have to propose anything to help me get rid of sprint back?
    thx a lot in advance

Try turning down your graphics settings very low. A 9600M is rather underpowered (as are most laptop GPUs more than one generation old) and it is possible that you are hitting some loading stalls. Also as Pegasus mentioned, your network speeds do look a bit screwy. Are you using wireless? That can often negatively impact network performance.

    yes it's wireless 802.11 n

For now no problem was found.I was playing 3 hours and i had almost no sprint backs 2 or maybe 3

with graphics set high except from shadows+lightnigs which is set to low and medium. Its running perfect
i may tune a little my card :) to set lightnigs from medium to high cause post processing+high lightnings is just awesome

By the way the game rules and is going to rule even more after months

seems the problem appeared again."server disconect"
And as i saw from the netest the time i had the problem one of the ports 7202 was total low to 86k/s,
I've contacted my isp and they told me that all ports are open no port is blocked.
They insisted that to open ports i have to do it through my router as i have bought a new one than the isp gave me.
To tell the truth i have no problems with other games though.
Anyway my router is a netgear 802.11 n and im using wireless.
Could anyone help on how to check and how to release the ports needed for the game?
