Trouble going from demo to full

SystemSystem Member, NoReporting Posts: 178,019 Arc User
I played the demo game through Steam and bought the game through Steam. I've activated my account, activated the CD game keys, provided my credit card information, and started a monthly subscription. Looking at my account info through the account manager on the website, it looks like everything is set up and should be running fine. But, every time I start the game, it acts as if I'm still in the demo. It will only let me have two characters and they have to be Federation. How do I get the full game to play?

you only have 2 character slots untill you reach rank 6 or you purchase extra, once you reach 6 on any toon you will then unlock a 3rd slot and the klingon faction

But do you have access to other missions besides the S.S. Azure??? If you do, then you're no longer in demo mode...

i have the problem that I bought the retail game and did everything i needed to install the game. I even bought a 30 day game time card to go with the 30day trial that comes with the game. Everytime i try to go to a different sector it pops up that im in Demo Mode. If i try to private chat or if I try to listen to an enemy signal it tells me Im still in Demo Mode and need to purchase the full game...Which I Already Did!!!.
If anyone can help I would appreciate it.:):):)

Sounds like your retail key was never fully activated. Try putting it in again, and make sure you set up a subscription (or supply a game time card) when it asks you for one.

If it still doesn't work, file a billing support ticket.

I am worried about that. I am about to get a game card and am not sure if it will still stay as a demo. the thing is it is a seperate download from the full one so that might be the problem.

the demo downlaod and the "full download " are the same thing. the only different of whether you play demo or full is what is on your account

if you have not enter a retail key from the full purchase of the game
not enter a recurring subscription plan
not enter how you will be paying for that plan when your 30 days are up.(credit card, paypal or gametime card information)
and not have cryptic verifiy and validated your payment method.

you will be doing the demo and not the full game.
