No sound in my game.

Hi, I've just bought the game and I've logged in and there's no sound. I've tried everything, it's not on my PC or my drivers (iTunes works fine, even opened it via the game :P ) just there is no ingame sound or music, the opening cutscene was in silence too.

Any ideas?

Ok, this is pretty much unplayable without sound.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm on Windows Vista Ultimate (64 bit) if that helps

    Getting desperate now

ok it is what I thought. You are using realtek sound card. The 64 bit drivers have a bad cpu bug that crashes the game (realtek driver problem) so on 64 bit system the game automaticly checks for and disable the sound for that card.

you can update to the latest driver and disable the checking for the card by

Exit the game and bring up the Launcher, click Options, and in the "Advanced command line" box, paste this: -ignorex64check, accept the changes and try loading the game.

this will disable the 64 check and you will have sound but you may have crashes in the game.

I'll look for drivers on the Realtek site.
Did that command line, now have sound. If you were within physical reach I would be leg humping you right about now.

Thanks so much for the help. :)
So much more helpful than a certain other three letter abbreviated MMO's forums.
