I enjoy playing Capture and Hold, but to be honest the "Capture" part is kind of dull. Just sit there and wait for the marker to change colors, while everyone else is pew-pewing away. If only there were something to make the capturing engaging...
Give it a progress bar or something, or soimehow let us affect the marker is some way to speed up the process... I don't care how, shoot it, hull heal it, shield heal it, tractor it, energy drain it, jam it, scramble it, buff it, debuff it... just give us something to do other than just sitting there waiting... please.

I concur for more excitement. I agree to the point sometimes I get so tired of playing it the right way.
For example, sometimes I won't wait for a full cap and fly to the objective where all the fighting is.
I read in another post the idea of adding npcs to the objectives, the more control you have the more spawns it will have. I liked that idea. I know a Volley would probably wreck the npcs.. but it is something.
Has it been confirmed that the more people at a capture point, the faster it captures?
Possibly increasing that rate more would encourage groups sticking together instead of Cadet Lonewolf taking on the Klingon Armada.
Also, it would reduce C&H times - which can be quite long at RA.
While I cannot give any quatnitative values, I am positive that points are captured much faster with the more players from a team that are in range of the marker. I am not quite sure what the capture range is either.
