Doesn't mater where I am, or what I'm doing or not doing. I get about 5 minutes (if I'm lucky) of gameplay before my computer shuts down. This just began today. I'm not overheating, my drivers are updated and everything, to the best of my knowledge, is where it should be. This only happens with this game. I'm not new to MMO's, but this is getting on my last nerve.
Anyone have any ideas as to what may be the issue? Does STO just not like me? I've Googled 'til I'm blue in the face and have tried every suggestion, yet nothing works.

The video card in this system does not meet the minimum system requirements for Star Trek Online. This would be why you are having issues running the game.

Problem is you can't really know if its overheating or not for certain.
The only thing that is measured these days temp wise is the GPU, but the memory chips or even "a memory chip" could be overheating and you would have no indication other than stability issues and visual anomalies.
STO tends to tax the graphics card more overall than other games do and if the card is below specs its just going to have to work even harder.
Files can be attached by going to attachment management at the under the message screen when making a post. I would prefer pasting the whole dxdiag over using a 3rd party hosting site.
I wouldn't worry about it; it says that for me as well, lol. I've checked some of the other sub-forums, and some of them allow attachments, while others do not.
So, if/until they turn attachments on in this forum, I'd say our only choices are to use a third-party site, or copy/paste it into a post (or, at least, the bits they ask for, anyhow).

One way to test if it is heat related or not is to open the case and put a table-top fan blowing into it. I did that when I was having issues with my system slowing down intermittently and found out that it was heat related. I added 3 fans to my system and the problem went away.

Appreciate your time - thanks.
Under the minimum system requirements does not mean you cannot play, just that we cannot guarantee your stability.
I think you have the wrong thread!

I will look into that, but as for your drivers try updating them they are a few versions old. STO is very temperamental with drivers.
