What is the Arc Client?

2 computers and UI issue.

Hi.

I play with 2 computers, my desktop and my laptop.

However the client seems to save my UI layout. So every time i play on one and set up the UI for one computer when i swap over to the other computer the lay out is all wrong and i have to sort out the UI again.

Then, ofc, when i swap back to the other computer i have to arrange the UI all over again.

This is getting very tiresome as i often swap from the desktop to the laptop a couple of times a day... is there any way to resolve this?

Is it a bug, or is it intended?

Ty for your time.

The UI saves serverside, so if you're playing on two computers you should get the same UI, with one caveat: It remembers absolute positions on the screen, not relative positions. If your screen resolutions are different then that would explain why they're laid out funky when you change computers.

Ah yes, thats what i meant, its all being saved on server side.

And yes my resolutions are different. The desktop monitor is 1680x1050 whereas the laptop res is 1600x900.

This is very tiresome having to change everything 4 times a day (or more) when swapping from one computor to the laptop.

Is there anyway the server could remember which computor i am using?

I dont have this problem with other games, & blantently its little things like this which can effect wether i continue to pay and play the game.

Dont get me wrong, i am enjoying the game, i just dont enjoy having to do this so often, every day.

Everything is saved on server side and that not gooing to change because server side setups are less prone to hacks. Only thing you can do is play the game at a resolution that is the same on both computers. (or in window mode that is less than the screen size of the smaller of the two resolutions.
    ) .

Oh dear, that sucks then :(

May i ask for a way to save different setups on the server side so i can click just one button OR have the server remember and detect which computer i am on?

That would be very nice :)
