Account Error

I bought a cd key from PC Gamers. Entered it in activation area. Received email saying 60 day play time activated. I log in to start playing and it says login error, contact billing. Did I miss doing something or is there something else wrong. I added a credit card for monthly payment, also. Still says account error, contact billing. Any ideas.

    As mentioned in your other thread, your retail key isn't attached to the account.

    is going to the support section of STO main website and putting in the 25 character key the solution? i know it is a needed step.

    Just bought the retail game today..and am having the same problem. I entered the game key in my game manual and when I go to my account it says I have nothing registered. On the page after entering my game key, it said that I was in my 30 day retail purchase period, along with a bunch of options for buying more time. I want to see if I even like the game before I commit to more time. Is that the 'hook'?

    A subscription is required to play.

    to activae the game you need to
    1. enter retail key (required)
    2. Enter a subscription plan (required)
    3. enter a payment method ie credit card, game time car or paypal account (required)
    4. have the payment method validated (required)

    then the game is active with the 30 days subscription bonus. if using a credit card or pay pal you will not be charged until after your 30 days are used up. if you cancel before the end of the 30 days . you will not be charged at all.
    on game cards the 30 days are added tothe time of the card.

    Wow Steam gave me the wrong key initially.

    I do feel stupid, and It says my subsciption has been created.

    Still trying to get this working. 3 days now. Also waiting on reply from ticket Searched through forums. Activated cd key to account. Still says account error, contact billing. Any suggestions?

    I looked at your account and there is game time applied, but no retail product. You need to have a subscription and a retail (purchased through a store or online) copy of the game to play.

    Thank you. Idid not know I had to, also, buy the actual game. I thought downloading the game was enough
