I just purchased Star Trek Online and downloaded it. Now, when I try to launch the game, it says the Server is down in the top right hand corner of the page and that there was an "Account error, please contact Billing support" at the bottom of the page. How can I start playing this game?

    Same problem, can't patch... is this because of the maintenance today, cause it's been like this for 8hrs.

    To play the full version you much have done all these steps

    1. enter your retail game key
    2. selected a subscription option
    3. enter a payment method for the subscription (credit card, game time card or paypal account)
    4. have the payment method validated

    then you will have an active full account with 30 day bonus play time.

    if you pay by credit card or paypal you will not be charged (except a refundable 1 dollar verification transaction) until the 30 day are used. game card the 30 days are added tothe time of the gamecard.

    I reactivated my account for 3 months, and just lost a day to this... still not working.

    Took 36 hours but they changed my account from Active to Pending Subscription to Suspended and now Active again!

    Wooo hooo! I be patching! 398 MB!

    What do I have to do to get the payment method validated or do I wait for them to do it??

    It looks like your sub is setup just fine, but you haven't applied your retail key yet.
