I frequently play my itunes through the game in the background through the in game UI. Since the lastest patch I have noticed my game freezes up when the music changes tracks and my screen goes white (not repsonding) briefly then continues all nornal.
I have a fairly powerful system with 16 gigs of ram and a power CPU. I cannot imagine my computer is lagging so it must be the software. Might wanna take a look at it. BTW I tried running itunes in the background without the built-in UI..worked just fine.
I'm not sure if it's my iTunes software, or the game's software, but I've noticed that recently (actually just before the patch) that the in-game player wouldn't recognize the player (song titles not showing up/controls not working) if iTunes was already playing when I typed in /music.
However, it will recognize iTunes if I had iTunes closed out first. When this happens though, the game freezes up until iTunes loads up.
Odd... Mine is always fine but I have heard a few people complain. I have a very powerful Packard Bell laptop built especially for gaming mind, so maybe I should be fine.
Try adjusting your video settings in game. Maybe that will help
