Accolades a failure because of yet another bad UI

Like so many other UI's in this game, the Accolade system is just a big ugly list of data. It could have been interesting if all this data where broken down into categories and presented at a high level to then be drilled into.
I was so put off by the UI that I did not pay to much attention to the details, but why not have a handful of top level ratings like Damage Done, Species Killed, whatever. Then you drill into each to see where you are lacking.

Instead all we get is yet another big long list of data. Has no one at Cryptic ever built a user interface before???
If you have to scroll more than a few pages in any list that should set of a red alert that something is wrong!!!
Take the skill broker for example. How much time would it have taken for a tab or filter system to break up the list by rank and type? This is SO basic and yet months later we have a captains lounge but almost no UI improvements. Have they fixed the info popups that just wont stop yet? I have an open issue that I can't change the skills on my science officers, but that just sits and collects dust.

I forgot to mention the worst UI issue that is still there. Every game message you get is a giant popup right in the middle of the screen that blocks your view of the battle and always seems to be at a bad time. FFF, GO AWAY ALREADY!

Why can't it be a nice little status window you can move to the edge of the screen and read at leisure when your not getting shot at? The text already scrolls nicely in the chat window why do I need the huge splash panel?

To be fair you can move the pop up windows to the side.

Yes, but they still take up to much space. A mini picture and small text window that doesn't block your view so much is needed. Like a small console on the arm of the captains chair, out of the way.
