Cryptic, can you fixes this please?

We've done a lot of troubleshooting on #STO for this to no avail:
  • Checking Ignore list
  • Creating a custom Chat tab with EVERYTHING checked
  • Uninstall/Reinstall
  • A friend logged into his computer install and his chars were fine
  • Used a second character with his account and same problem

Sounds like a problem with his @account, but who knows. No one has responded to his bug report yet.

One thing to try, Oshanee, is to try to login to your friend's computer and see what happens.

To add to this post, some thing we went over with him in IRC to try to help.

fleet and PM works fine.
he cannot see any other chat, but others can see his (zone and team).
he cleared his ignore list.
he redownloaded the game.
second character on his own account gets the same issue.
friend's account on his computer works fine.
Update: He tried his account on a friends computer and got the same issue so it's definitely looking like a glitched account.

    As mentioned in numerous other threads and the bug report auto-responder itself, bug reports are not responded to, they are processed by QA and entered into the tracking system. Please put in a GM help ticket so someone can look at your account. Those are actually responded to, generally within 24 hours (though given that its past midnight I would say it isn't super likely to get a response before the first GMs get in tomorrow morning, probably 8ish).

    Yes Coderanger, i did submit GM Help Tickets #885988..but..it been a month...that i waiting for to get my account fixed..i wonder why too long? can you get them quick as a look at my account?

    That is showing as a bug report to me ("Category: Bug Report - Other"), and was correctly sent the auto-reply. Also it was put in 5 days ago, not a month. Are you sure that was the ticket number?

    Yes..i have two tickets that i make a months ago but was closed...by me and i create to new ticket to more explainable. yes it was 5 day ago. so thank you for clear up. any progress of my issue?

    You still have not put in a GM help request. Until you do that, no one can look into it.

    In game click on Request GM help instead of hitting bug report.

    on the website goto http://www.startrekonline.com/tickets while logged in, click on create new ticket, click tech issues, click on any of the selections and hit search then make a new ticket.

    if the problem is billing related need to click billing issues not tech. Hitting tech would delay the response as it would go to the wrong department.

    The easiest way is to file the request from in-game. Lemme grab some screenshots.

    Now you need to wait for a GM to address your ticket. This can take between 10mins and 24 hours depending on the que.

    It is already passed 24 hours..and no responding from them...:(

    The GM que is a little backed up due to issues over the weekend, but someone will get to your ticket soon. I looked at your issue and have you tried to right click on the "Chat" box to bring up the filters list? If some of these are unchecked it can make it so those types of chat will not be shown.

    Yes i did reset setting ...not work

    i did create new chat ...not work

    i did check "everything on the chat"....not work.


    so none of work my friend and fleet trying to help me out issue still remaining problem...
    i dont know how to resolve the problem..so GMs need take a look on my account...i believed there a glitch.

    Hey Implausible, is GM Cassul are exist? i did email to Cassul but not sure if it exist or not? THanks

    All our GM's, billing, and tech support reps are real people. They maybe working on another issue at the moment, but they will update your ticket shortly.

    Well you edit your ticket with the additional information then you hot submit it once you have finished editing it.
