Hello,

i am have an external FireWall by my home internet connection.
There is config the rule "deny all, allow my exception".

I had reading that: i have to open all TCP ports from "7000" until "7500"

I would registering the ip range of used STO servers in the rule also.

Which ip range is used by STO servers (for play and authorisation server)?

best regards

EDIT: ports number

    Hello,

thank you for you answer, i have make a mistake, i mean TCP ports 7000-7500 of course.

My question is: which IP range is used by the STO live servers.

At the Moment i have enter the IP range with "Try and Error"-Method in my Firewall rule. But this isn't satisfiable. I have sometimes disconnects from server and i have to do enter a new IP in the firewall rule.

    Greetings

PS: pls excurse me, english isn't my main language.

It's usually a BAD IDEA to base firewall access on the actually IP address as the whole purpose of the Internet Domain Name System (DNS) is to seperate the Server 'Name' (URL) from its actual IP address (which could change with a switch to different providers, or even something as simple as a change of the network configuration)...
