Any Fed or Klingon groups that want to get some practice in maybe this weekend please contact Santa Claws in game. We're having a difficult time finding opponents for whatever reason and thought maybe if we advertised we might have a bit more luck. Plus I'm getting bored

I'm telling you, fleets are honestly avoiding GoD like the plague now. When they learn that GoD is on the prowl (even when its just people that happen to have the GoD tag on them), they all start qeueing for FvF. If you wanna face them your gonna have to roll fed characters. oh wait...
And GoD is totally named after a magic card. Santa just didn't like the fact that the accronym was DoG.
Wow,so I am typing this from my motorola droid (which is lava hot phone) in a beautiful hampton inn in south dakota on my way home from my griswold family road trip to see the inlaws in the wilds of minnesota only to read this game is truely slowing to a dead crawl.......
I just read the newest engineer report and I see they r still working on fluff and TRIBBLE....well maybe when I get home I can bring myself to play this once b4 I try APB.
Anyword on APB btw? My guild was gung ho for it b4 I left.

Lol all points bullitine (spelling I know). Gangwars in an mmo. If you want to play that you might as well as play gta freeroam. Saw the trailer, saw the gameplay, don't think it will last very long, especially considering that the target audience would probably have more fun in cod4
Lol.. that was like my first time ever doing cracked planet vs a full 5 D.O.B team and the 4 of us won. I think it was 15 - 5.
PVPing with GoD is pretty fun!
i would like to know who this supposed DOB full 5 man team was...its pretty hard for me to believe this claim when you have no SS...and the majority of the fleet is on hiatus...so please enlighten me.

i dont know about space, but if this was a ground fight I have no problems believing it.

The majority of the fleet is on hiatus and thus we know it couldn't have been the "A Team" or even the "B Team" but that isn't to say those teams couldn't be beaten or have never been beaten. Any fleet...be it DOB, GoD, Section 31, 182nd, etc...can and has been beaten on occasion. What sets them apart is that in order to beat those fleets or one of the 5 teams DOB fields is that it takes a well-coordinated and highly skilled team to do so.
The fact that the same 50 or so players remain at the top end of the spectrum regardless of patches or nerfs and yet any of them are a challenge and a good fight for each other probably speaks far more to the overall balance of the game in all of its previous iterations than Cryptic would care to admit.
A lot of individual players and fleets...DOB included...are still working through the patch changes and adjusting builds, loadouts, strategies, and tactics accordingly. Getting back to more organized Premade vs Premade matches, as Blackjack alluded to, is of benefit to all of us. Simply rolling random PUG's night after night does little to advance any of our overall skill levels beyond the basic team cohesion and synergy generated by playing together as a unit consistently.
Probably the worst side effect of Cryptic's consistent nerfs, patches, content delays, woeful lack of end-game content, rampant UI errors and game bugs, and desperate money grabs are the total loss of good groups such as Murder Fleet and Coffee Crew and the diminishing participation on a consistent basis or burgeoning lack of interest by fleets such as Section 31, 182nd, and DOB. My fleet, as an example, hasn't fielded consistent top-end 5-man teams in well over a month. Shame really as STO is bleeding subscribers in general and high-end PvP'ers in particular. As the console game release season ramps up over the next few months with new titles it'll only exacerbate the problem.
Cryptic's saving grace to their ineptitude has been a lack of competition. When games such as Black Ops, MoH, the various console sports and RPG titles, and ME2 downloadable content hit the scene it will get worse. Down the road with GW2, SC2, and SW: TOR release or go into Beta more people will begin to leave. As 6-month and yearly subscriptions come to term it will also get worse. Cryptic has an opportunity to make the game better and stem the tide but they seem more interested in appeasing role-players, PvE "Captain Kirk's", and grabbing as much cash as possible.
Well I certainly hope that Rev and some of the "old" DOB guys decide to come back. I always enjoyed playing against you guys even if it usually ended up being a painful process. I don't blame anyone for getting bored with one map and overall lack of quality opponents. On top of that the pvp is not part of any RVR and therefore becomes somewhat hollow.

Quick, suck it back out of the carpet before it's too late!

Don't forget the full GoD fleet, which decimated the tournament.

I was the only section 31 member in the screenshot.
