My computer is tripping.

Not much of another way to explain it. I have no clue whats going on, so anyways...I shall describe my issue.

I start up my computer, first thing I notice is my resolution changed...so I changed it back to its original resolution...problem solved I though nothing of it. THEN, I lauched STO and got a rather large pop up that tells me that my computer configuration may be unable to run this application and that it appears to be using an unsupported video card and that the application my run poorly or not at all. It worked fine yesterday so..wth. and it asks me if I want to run it anyway with lowered or default settings. And then I went and updating my base system rating...which is now 1.00...it used to be 5.9...so im at a loss as to whats happening..

so..now I decided, since I was using outdated drivers to run STO better...to fully update the drivers and restart my comp and then launch STO and see what happens. I will edit this post when I see what occurs. This is more related to my comp than STO....but it involved STO to an extent and I hope this doesnt get any weirder.

edit: launched the game after updating my drivers, and did not get the popup. In game, everything seems fine. I guess the problem is solved, kind of weird I was using old drivers for months then suddenly today having old drivers caused problems. my comp score was updated back to 5.7..and not 5.9.

edit: So, the up to date drivers fixed that issue, but now rubberbanding in game is bad..real bad.

Yes it is good practice to keep your drivers up to date as they can solve many issues. Have you tried using the Proxy option? This may help the rubber banding option. To enable this got to the launcher, and don't log in just yet. Click on the options link and in the options select the US proxy option from the drop down window. Once that's done click ok and log in. If the problem persists create a tech support and we should be able to figure something out.
