I received several e-mails today which stated that the time for my Exchange items had expired and that the items were being returned to me.
I'm wondering what will become of them if there are not enough places to put them (such as the bridge officers) and how I can remedy the situation, since I am unable to log-in to the game.
Probably put them in your bank and inventory, Sell stuff at vendors or to your replicator (which you can do on the ground).
If you were one of the people who had like a hundred items on the exchange, just sit at the mail terminal in sol or DS9 , collect the items from the mail, sell the items to your replicator and repeat until done.
Thanks! The big problem is that I cannot get into the game at all (due to technical issues, which will probably take months to resolve since I don't have the money for repairs), so I'm wondering if the items will wind up in Cyber Limbo or if they'll trickle down to the other characters on my @username address.
They should stay attached to the mail, which may be available to all characters on that account. I know I have sent data and food from one character to another (because I refuse to pay the rediculous prices on the Exchange) and have forgotten about it for a week or unable to log in. It won't go anywhere, just will sit in your mailbox in game.
111 items returned, I now have to click each mail to get each item  Then run between storage (mail), exchange (to re-list) and or an NPC (to sell). Come on cryptic make it easier please.
Some Items I only listed yesterday, so how can "Your sale in the Exchange has expired" be right ?
It should be based on items and not on the account! I thinks

There is not a time limit on Mail. You can just leave them in there until you figure out what to do with them.
Is there a limit on how many mails can be in your box, i wonder. Does anyone know this ?
I've literally got hundreds of items in the Mail for both CO and STO just waiting for me to get to them. If there's a limit it has to be well above 200. I haven't hit it yet.

I have another issue with Exchange, maybe you can help here also?
I had a limit of 20 Items listed, and sold every thing else over a week ago. I then withdrew all of the items that had not sold by yesterday, and attempted to place for sale different items. I had a Resilient Shield, level 6. When I clicked on the list item, it did not show up in my cargo listing. Again, Today, I had a Class 6 Hyper Impulse Engine, and it did not show up either. All of my other items were there, Weapons, Hypo's, Shield Batts, and every thing else. The things I wanted to sell were not seen.

HAHAHHAa I have to ENJOY seeing an exchange abuser finally getting his ! ! !

There is no evidence at all he was abusing the exchange. I just got 74 items returned myself. Between two characters I had probably 90+ items for sale on exchange. Not one was used for storage, no data, no food. Just gear.

Items in Cargo do not show up to post on Exchange.

If nobody else has a reason for this, how about Cryptic Staff?? Have any ideas about why the items in my hold do not show up when I try to post them on Exchange?
Perhaps a BUG in the new Exchange Protocol??

Actually I sell gear at 75% the items "value" as listed in the description. All items were good and none was stackable (anomalies, hypo's. etc.) And I got 150 emails back due to lack of interest. 350k later at the vendor, no more emails.
Before you jump to conclusions over posting by calling us farmers, spammers, etc. understand that some of us actually do try to use the exchange as a reasonable way to get more credits for our items than what vendors will normally give. I have not and refuse to sell items for assinine amounts (10 mill for a single anomaly... give me a break).

Today, Saturday the 12th, I went to the Exchange again, and had a level 7 Console to post, and a Level 7 Ship Shield. Neither of them would show up for Exchange Posting. I opened my Inventory screen, and both of those items were GRAYED OUT. Can anybody please tell me a reason for this?? I have the items in hold, and can not post them for sale on the Exchange. When I return to the ship equipment dealer counter they show up, and I can sell them there.
There must be a reason for this somewhere, Cryptic???

I think I found the reason for these items not showing up for the Exchange Sale. The items I am trying to sell were bought in the shipyard with a different currency value, and can not be sold for cash value, I think....

If you mean the stuff purchased with badges, then yes. Those are bind-on-equip or bind-on-pickup. Bound items cannot be put on the exchange or otherwise transferred to another character; they can only be sold to NPC vendors.

I hope that I don't lose them all together.

I've never hit it if there is one. My box got pretty full back in the days of heavy gold Spammers.
That's fabulous news!
Thanks VERY VERY much!

Now if they'd implement some mailbox management tools. Exchange sale notifications in one folder, exchange returns in another...

Oh well. I'm going to delete all my Fed Chars (even my RA) and start fresh again.
